When I hear this song, I think of a girl's parents that died in a village invasion. Then as she was running away from the invaders they caught her and took her into a foreign country. She becomes a mistreated slave. Then as she turns 16 she's thrown into the prostitution ring. Every other night, around midnight, there's a feature show with her dancing. Finally some dirty men bid on her and the highest bid gets to take her and do horrible things to her.

When I listen to the lyrics of this song, I dont see it as a song that supports the devil in any way. I see it instead as a person trying to tell us how low his life has gotten, to the point he is drinking the devils water. He never knew he was leading in this direction, but as viewers from afar we can see that this is not what he planned to be doing, ever. It is similar to a memoir that has been written to prevent us from making the same mistakes, and hopefully avoid the devils water ourselves.
