Yes, it does. Back when I was doing a lot of tournaments , ( grad school ) I also worked as a bouncer. I threw the world's greatest  tai otoshi while working ( of course I WASN'T TRYING TAI OTOSHI I was trying hane goshi ), If I had tried tai otoshi I would have screwed it up
