Some NYC politician should jump on this. These things take up virtually no space, use virtually no gas, make little noise, don't clog up roads... Open up some space, let them park on sidewalks and chain to poles, etc. Encourage more people to get these and make life better for everyone. Maybe the price of a Vespa would even come down a little if they had to produce more. Is there something bad here I can't see?
You are totally right.The city is overcongested with cars trucks and cabs and to top it all of the MTA is soon raising prices again for metrocards.Not only are they raising prices but service is also getting alot slower and they are removing alot of trains on weekends.I wish the future of NYC is the scooter and from the look of things to come i really think the scooter will replace all forms of public transportation inside Manhattan and a substantial force in the outer boroughs.
