This Is pussy hockey I live in cape Breton nova scotia and if someone did that 2 a goalie there would be a brawl. I am a goalie and when people do that to me no matter how much I might hurt I'm always up to kick the guy who did it ass. The goalie should have slashed him in the back of the legs as soon as the other player got close to him that's what I would do.
@xx24carfan4xx. do u even no wht hockey is? u know its a physical sport rite. u dumb fuck... realy it was just a push... he didnt get creamed. ... its hockey it happens... so fuck u bitch. so basicly ur sayn u dnt want them to hit in hockey.. sometimes golies get run overed. sometimes its an accident....
@zc1990 all sports are physical but that is why its youth hockey you dont fucking smash a kid as hard as you can. They're kids not fucking adults an injury to a child is dangerous their bodies aren't supposed to have broken bones it halts the growth of those bones. NHL And AHL are ok but with a youth hockey league hitting isnt allowed.
@banesGuy1.. ur a fucking fag. u dnt even watch hockey... ur a bitch was tht ur little brother tht got pushed... it was a push. hockey is a physical game u pussy ass bitch... do u even watch hockey?
man i feel bad for the kids , they just want to have a game of hockey . However that was a dirty thing to do but it should not have gone down like that .
@IbanezGuy1 no im 21. its all part of the game it happens. i think they should change the rules a little bit. if the goalie comes out to play the puck he should get hit wht mkes im different from the other players.. but in the video tht was a push. soo fuck off
Alright, lets take a look at this video and break it down chronolgically shall we?
0:21- That must have been the hardest hit I've ever seen!!(note the sarcasm) Let's be realistic, at the most extreme that "hit" could be considered a mere bump. I would say the goalie more than likely tried to exaggagerate the contact to draw a penalty, resulting in his own "injury"...regardless I will give him the benefit of the doub that he is not so strong on his skates an indeed unwillingly fell over.
Let this be a learning experience to everyone out there. It is the biased opinions of the coaches/fans that can truly decide the emotional outcomes of these hockey games...Lead by example, show the players you can keep your emotions under control and they will more than likely do the same.
would be reflective by that of the parents/coaches. It is when people let there emotions get out of control that games go bad. If parents/coaches could learn to leave the officitaing the officials, and just focus on supporting/coaching the team, the game of youth hockey would be much more enjoyable for everyone. The peabody coach had already gone ballistic earlier in the game when the alleged "hit from behind" was not called. This reaction set the stage for the rest of the game...
Now I would like to leave you with a final statement. It is because of people like this that make an officials job so much more challenging. We get very little if any support from parents/ coaches with regards to our in-game decisions. Granted they may not be the calls you are looking for, there is a reason why we wear the stripes and you dont. If parents/coaches would just support the team, leading be example (ie not swearing at/disrespecting the officals), the behavior of the players
I'd like to make point. The location in which this game was being played was getting pounded with rain and flooding. The paramedics were summoned to the ice rink for nothing?! You've got to be kidding me. Instead of these paramedics being available to assist someone who could desperately have needed it due to the flooding, they now had to divert there time to a pointless cause. Who ever made this ambulance request should be fined!! (ie the coach) Have paramedics show up for no reason...
"hit from behind." Secondly, the criteria for a major/game suspension penatly requires an injury or intent to injure event at the discretion of the game officials. The player who was hit, got right up and quickly joined the play (no injury what-so-ever).
Now, an ambulance was called to the hockey rink to treat the "injured" player. Upon arrival, some bodies denied the paramedics treatment to the player. Paramedics left the scene and were obviously called just to make a point?!?
3:11- Officials called the game because coaches wanted paramedics called and had obviously lost it on emotions..we will return to this paramedic thing later...Not to mention the score was 5-1 Andover with 3 minutes left in the game...
3:20- Coach is complaining that the player who allegedly 'smoked' the goalie should have been ejected from the game in the first period for a once again alleged hit from behind. First, the player who hit the goalie was not the player who committed the alleged
liability/safety issue for both the league, USA hockey, and the parents. If a parent were to slip and fall resulting in any injury, this now falls on the shoulders of sed authorities. note: 3:24- adult comes onto ice without officials knowledge and slightly slips...
2:30- Are both coaches paying more attention to the official than the kid? (AGAIN?!?!)
1:25 - Refs skate away from an injured player to allow the coach or whoever is assisting him or her to have undivided attention towards the player.
1:33 - What I am wondering is why the coach (if the goalie was severly injured) focused his attention towards yelling at the officials opposed to making sure the player was alright? hmm....
2:04 - Parents are never allowed in the ice without full permission from the referee or other rink authority. It is a

Why was the couch yelling at you?

he was ok........ landed hard right on his back on the knob of his stick.
Coach was yelling at the ref not me. Older ref was an asshole to the kids and coaches. Didnt help them at all, was just yelling all game.

Glad to hear the goalie is okay. I have two nephews in hockey. Was the game call off or did they just get a talking to in the change room?
