  • well...I'm not just going to turn it into a GT...though there will be a V8...BUT its not a Ford V8 but a Techco Power Labs 302 3v V8...built to reliably handle about 900 HP...comfortably with the TR6060 6 speed transmission kit, and Spec clutch stage 2+...I'm looking at 600 RWHP CARB legal. by then I'll have another daily drive though...and that type R might be the ticket^^. I gotta drive it first though.

  • Yeah I have two cars right now...as a daily I have a 2007 Mustang. its a v6 BUT its not staying that way ;). I have quite a bit planned for that car. Like civics...theres TONS of directions you can take mustangs.

    My second car is in the garage its a 1990 BMW 325IS...thats in mint condition and thats how its staying...both manual trans.

    But i need a new clutch in that and I don't want to just use stock...still trying to find what I want for it.

  • Headers, preferably ceramic coated, full exhaust, CAI and a proper tune...Turbo's are fine but you must do a TON of engine work to make them reliable if anyone intends on going past 8psi...I have a old HS friend that took his CRX, and put a K20 in it and it was past 400HP...that sucker Was SICK...BUT he's constantly broke transmissions, blown his rings, and main seals, and CB joints would shear...but yeah even he has gotten fed up with it and is now looking at a current Camaro SS.

    Thats cool though its just everyone else that puts a fart cannon exhaust on the end and call it a day that tarnished the crap out of Honda for me...its just that "WAAAAKKKKKKKKKK WAAKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK TICK POP POP POP" yikes...NO! this guy in the vid once you put the car under load its going to sound tinny and raspy past 7k...and I'm just not into that.

  • Well a Mugen is not a ricer. But yeah...I don't know. Iv'e never really heard one Civic yet I liked.Driving them? Yeah I have and yes they do handle well but there again I'm not into a car that you must rev way high to get any kind of power out of...so those two go hand in hand...for myself I'm more into STI's, Evo's, Supra's, Silvia's (Or a 240sx with an RB26DETT swap) and then Muscle. and the only reason for muscle is for the amount of what you can buy for the power you can have...and sound^^

  • Right...whatever helps you sleep at night buddy. I could not care less...I'm into American Muscle and REAL tuners. Ricers sound like Shit. Are slow as the continental drift, and style? Holy shit don't quit your day jobs, most of you nut fucks don't know why when you make any power you must use racing fuel and a totally reworked 4 banger...just to pass up a Stock LS1 or Supra on shit 87 octane.

  • the stock exhaust sounds fucking great! it reminds me of a jap version of a bmw straight six. they do sound nice but this one sounds like poop. test drive one if you allready havent and tell me the exhaust does not sound pretty good.

  • what with those "meeeeeeeeeeehh" sheep sounds at the end of the revs? I thought the rev ups were of very good sound quality but going down, it cuts off with that sheep sound. DAmn it, I was gonna go for this exhaust :(, guess I'll have to keep looking.

  • don't know if its new or not, but i know one thing, my buddies evo exhaust has been clean o his SI for about 7 months now.. we were talking about it the other day, and all decided that it might be that it's the car's low emission rate.. just shows you can have speed and keep the pollution to a minimum. but please don't think i am one of those emissions freak. like i said we were just wondering the same thing...

  • I don't understand how you can say that turbos are for ricers. Do you know anything about cars or did you just mod your 'Stang the way you were told to? Turbos are an efficient and effective way of adding power without adding excess weight. Not to mention that in most applications it increases fuel economy if you behave yourself while driving. I have a feeling the engineers at VW (the GTI), Mitsubishi (Evo X) and Subaru (STI), just to name a few, know a fuck of a lot more about cars than you.

    Your mustang has no independent rear suspension. And, what's left of it sucks. That heavy V-8 in the front and the shitty stock tires dont help at all. and your extra weight doesnt help either. Our civic sis will completely outhandle your muscle "machine".

    Yes it has a solid rear axel...but it does handel if you know what your doing. Thats why I got board in my 240SX, its two fucking easy. A Civic is way too easy and a Subaru would put me to sleep.

  • its sounds great in the higher rpms, but like the problem with most people that put the Greddy Evo2 Turbo-Rated muffler on a Naturally Aspirated Car on a small block engine... not enough flow, so it sounds like balls idle and when it starts up.

  • probably air on the digital camera's mic? dunno...but the best explanation. it's not there normally and u can't hear it if u listen for it.

  • its the beautiful sound of the deep vibration from the greddy evo exhaust, when the rpms fall. great video quality. but it doesnt matter if it sounds a lil ricey up top, cause its not like fart can ricey.
