Thanks buddy for the clarification.. what i meant was losses to hostile /enemy action.. so it looks like 24 lost to direct enemy action???? 3 lost in collisions and structural failures??? sounds about right
obviously you have no idea of what you are talking about!!!b-52 had one of the highest mission survival rates of any plane period...there was only around 20 lost in the entire war..20 out of thousands of sorties flying in all the way from guam..and i'd say 1 for every 100 soviet made sams fired at one they actually got a hit ..
B-52's are sweet mate, they were used in vietnam but nows theres new varients that are even better, they can hold alot of bombs and go fairly quick, these things look easy to hit but they're not. Don't they come with escort fighter jets aswell?
B-52 is sweet i love to fly it in Wings Over Europe or Wings Over Vietnam :D

just throwing a lttile fact out there..there were 9888 sa-2's and others fired in vietnam.. for a total of 190 u.s. aircraft downed..
