I've heard several singers sing the Pie Jesu before, both before Christmas and at funerals, but this way of singing it really brings tears to my eyes, both because of his story and my memories of when I have heard the song. I seldom have heard such a beautiful performance of this song. It's truly mesmerising and enchanting to listen to. If I ever get to decide on music for a ceremony calling for the Pie Jesu, I definately want to have this version played.
