  • Love your videos!!!! (-:

  • gorgeous!

  • Hi, Forgot to ask where on earth did you find this little beauty?

  • Beautiful, Boxed and mint, rare and a good cb rig, well done !!

  • I had one of these and a harrier cbx. Im still on the uk 40 but its so quiet around here now.

  • Oh yes, I also have a Midland 2000 near mint in the box :o)

  • Bleedover? These were amongst the best radios bar the Uniden as mentioned of course, however I found the Uniden type radios to be deaf on long distance especially the meter display and the sound quality was tinnier and not so nice. I would rather have a Rotel RVC-240/Harrier CBX/Binatone 5 Star/York 863 anytime, and indeed I have :o)

The Binatone 5 Star was the first UK radio I bought 2 days before legalisation for £110 and I still have one now... nowhere near mint but still works A1

  • Nice radio indeed. Did you say it's not for sale? You have it on ebay now though - lol. Cybernet boarded radios very sensitive but suffered from 'bleed over' unlike the Uniden boarded rigs which of course were less sensitve but less prone to bleed over. 10-4 good buddy is that a rodge? lol

  • I was never a fan of any of the UK 40 FM radios but thats a handsom looking radio lad.

  • had a five star a few years ago but it was'nt as nice an example as that, brilliant rigs, did'nt get any bleedover on the channels or anything

  • its bii na tone not bin a tone
