@njhopkins1992 haha it's kind of hard to tell you with out demonstrating. the easiest way to start out is just play some quarter notes or eighth notes on the same string sing your thumb kind of like a pick. at first it will make your thumb kind of sore but just keep pushing on. once you're more comfortable with that try playing something a little more complicated. I would practive songs i already know i would just use the double thumb technique instead of the standard two finger technique.

I'm thinking about getitng the ATK300, you recommend it?  Where would I place my thumb if i were playing finger style? Seems like there isnt a place thats the only drawback.

@flex0821 you could rest your thumb on the pickups, but better not to get used to. Better if you can move your hand all the string because it sounds different, more "nasal" sound if you play near the bridge, more "round" if you play near the fingerboard. Everyone plays different in order to get the sound
