I had to have two potassium drips when i went to the hospital for an overdose, it hurt like freakin hell. It's crazy how fast you can have a potassium deficiancy, i had only not eaten for 4 days when i needed that.
Well this is nothing like a potassium drip, this way more intense. I have lost count how many times I have had to go to the ER in the past for emergency survival potassium drips. They never hurt me but some people feel like they burn...I hope you are healing and do not need them anymore : ) Electrolytes flectuate daily. It can be one way one day and completely opposite the next. They are NEVER completely fluid and if some is doing things to hinder stability then it's imbalanced even more.
stick to, you honestly help me to keep going by the way you speak about raw and healthy foods, you get so excited about them and i love it! lol. I hope it's not rude to ask for you to pray for me, to finally be healthy, and maybe even happy, i'll pray for you too.
Aw, I had no idea you were this tiny. I am going to finish the series but I just wanted to wish you luck. I'll watch your second visit, I just wanted to see these vids first. Aw, your mom was there! So sweet!
Hi love, been awhile. I do not find it productive to call me tiny, please do not comment on my body size - thanks. We shouldn't be focusing on these sorts of things about one another - let's focus on the fact that my efforts in recovery are NOT tiny! Smile
Please watch my latest video, I made it earlier... it's about how a lot of people here don't think well enough before they speak and offensive comments are made, etc. I know you don't mean to offend and if you know it's triggering then it's best to keep comments to onself, you know? doesn't benefit you, me or other viewers. I get upset when people knit pick at my body. I do not comment on theirs nor is that my intention and I am over here trying to heal... hugs
I hope I didn't seem negative now. I just didn't realize it was triggering until afterward, but it's takes time to learn to give thought to everything you say before you say it. For me at least.
You weren't kidding when you said it was a pleasant room and that the doctor is a doll! So glad to see you at ease and chatting with her. I am truly impressed with the homely atmosphere created. I know that the next one is going to be harder to watch so doing it now before I change my mind xxx
5:32- 5:37 was a little ambiguous and made it sound like an avocado is 500 calories. Just to clarify, a medium size avocado contains about 276 calories.
It's always great to see you Johnny. All the best always in all ways.
Sweetie, I use to track all my kcals for healing purposes and I do not eat medium avocados. I eat very LARGE ones that are over 6 servings a piece and rank up to about 500 kcals a piece. So you heard correctly : ) Kcals in avocados all depend on their size and I go for the big kahunas, it's how I get my calories and have validated my intake through nutritional charts and also have a food scale...
(keep in mind in the 400 range but with the other stuff I include it ranks up to a total of about 500 a meal - this is what I meant... imagine Andrea's avocados - the size I eat is equivilant to about 4 of her avocados...)
OMG BOB and TERRI at Cold Creek Ranch - organic citrus and avocados only, same side as Happy Boy, a few vendors down from them when you first walk in - can't miss them.and $3 a lb, I get a phat discount for buying in bulk. They are the best. I didn't know you didn't know they were there every week!!! They also sell slaughter meat, yuck, and eggs and fresh orange juice. The avocados come in various sizes but generally you can find some pretty big kahunas! Andreas ones are ants, I wouldn't buy.
My blood pressure is still very low even after been in recovery for a year. The consequences sometimes are lifelong,it's hard to live with(the hypotension) it makes me dizzy, lightheaded a lot.
I'm praying for you sweetie, you are so strong to go through this, I know it must be tough, but God has given you so much strength and wisdom to want to recover! God bless you hun!!!!
Well IV lines are way more intense then injections - they stay in. Injections are just shots, I get IM -intramuscular- injections every Friday...for hormonal issues. I just laugh at this question my friend, considering I have tattoos and piercings all over!!! hahaha I am okay with needles dear. It's really more all in the head, if you fear them they will actually hurt. Otherwise it's nothing but a pinch or poke!
Oh my goodness, I didn't realize how sick you are... I admire you for wanting to get better and for posting videos from your road to recovery. I wish you all the luck in the world! Oh and The Ramen Girl is a cute movie! I've watched it on Netflix too! =)
Thank you soo much for documenting all this, I've read a lot about refeeding and how risky (but necessary) it is, so I'm interesting in seeing how it goes. Does just a normal doctor administer it or do they have to have some kind of nutrition-related credentials, etc? Just curious.
Okay so what you read applies to refeeding through the GI tract or feeding tubes NOT what I am doing. I just need to make that clear. I am doing this through an ND - you can read more in the info box to a direct link for info! Refeeding through caloric intake is extremely dangerous, what type of research are you doing and what is the reason? just curious here...
I think I meant something different from what I said, I mean it's necessary to have the IV therapy to replenish your nutrients, and I was wondering if the person administering it specialized in something like nutrition or whatever or if it was something any doctor could do. I didn't know if they needed a nutrition degree or something since it's related to nutrients and they need to know how much of each one to administer
I asked because I didn't want to assume but I could tell that like me you take great strides in educating yourself on nutrition! I just responded to your calcium comment and hope I didn't come across as I think Im some know it all. There is always room to learn and even if I am educated on certain things that are brought up in comments I strongly encourage those to keep posting advice because others may benefit from them by learning something new! I salute and support you in your learning -
journies... so dont be discouraged if you ever offer nutritional advice and I'm already doing it or know it. I pride myself in this area of my life (nutrition education) and it's one thing I really honor about myself so sometimes I may seem a bit over the top on myself over it - like really proud but not in a cocky way!!! As for the treatment, the doctor needs training. They cant just whip it up, its a highly POTENT and individualized cocktail mix - alteast what I was given,,, and many others.
I've been reading about IV therapy for almost an hour now and I'm really interested in it. Not for ed reasons but from what I can tell it can be really beneficial for fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. Unfortunately I'm not having any luck finding a place here in KY that does it so I can get more information...
Honey bunny, just left you comments on my Life Update video and a comment on your page so you can get my comments, very important to me that you read. Can you tell me where in KY you are? I would LOVE to help if possible. These treatments are SO beneficial. I'm sorry you deal with these issues but glad to know that even with dealing you are still making LIFE happen. Amen sister. What do you to help with energy? I can tell you what I do to help if you'd like. I am chronic fatigue due to eds.
We got about half way through it and then I got super sick and had to completely rest... so I can't answer in full yet but half way through it I find it cute. Not spectacular but one of those cutesy films... I am finding this nice Asian man she meets at the restaraunt and comes to her front door to be very cute. Smile. So is she though.
Johnny, I'm so proud of you honey, for doing this. Praise the Lord for taking care of you and giving you the strength and courage to give your body what it needs. I'm praying for you and thinking of you my darling. Much love <333
How are you today? I pray for you and wish you all the best in the world.

How wonderful! Thems not your average avocados.
I have been buying all my avocados from Andrea. Where can I score me some of these monsters?
