I just bought the USA version of this and am a bit annoyed that this is not on it.

@GeauxTigers2008 It's very unfair, I know! Unfortunately, this song wasn't released in the USA. I had to buy the UK version of the CD to get this song.

What happened to the B section of this piece? The part with the Portuguese sung text which is just as much a par of the original compositio as the vocalise section. And why add vocal improvisations to the instrumental part? It's no regard for Villa-Lobos, the composer REMEMBER HIM?

That's modern classical-crossover music for you! I like the original but I find this version refreshing because it is different. I have three or four different versions of this song on my iPod.
