@marxvlog lol no they drill a hole into the CAKE BOARD that they put the cake layers on so the board goes over the dowel and they can stack it.

@zephyrcui Her hair was pulled back which is perfectly fine, and many decorators who work in private bakeries do not have their hair in a hat or a net. You find that more in grocery stores or places like Wal-Mart. Health dept. is a lil more strict on these places usually. Usually the bakers will have on hats or nets, but not typically the decorators. The rim of a hat can create a shadow when one is bent over a cake or even touch the cake if needing to get close for intricate detail work.
