1-part of getting older for any vocalist is your voice flattens out and you cant hit the high notes anymore like when you were younger, 2-plant had surgery on his vocal chords so that really ended him hitting the high notes to, 3, page was always sloppy as hell live, when zep was still around theyre fan magazine was called TIGHT BUT LOOSE, which was reference to pages live playing, 4-page was completely smacked out by this point, hes bone thin from heroine abuse!!! The Jonas Bro's are this generation's N' Sync basically except they were popular for an even shorter amount of time and then J-Bieb's is the new Enrique Iglesias, No one will care about them after 2-3 years and when they're brought up in the future it's only to make fun of how ridiculously queer they are. Ok we can all say it was their best performance but it wasnt. Every zep gig is great so it is so hard to compare them. Although i love anything they do knebworth was one of their worst concerts. Robert said "we played too fast and too slow. It was a shit gig". I still think their worst performance could top any other bands best performance. Ramble on everybody!

nah, his son had some rare illness and died, probably a year or so after the crash. If you want to read a good biography, get "Stairway to Heaven". it was written by richard cole, the band's tour manager, and is by far the best I've read on Zeppelin.

Plant's voice has maybe hit the same notes to the recorded version of the songs that Zep did, perhaps once....then never again...he always opts for a 3rd of 5th below, or straight to the lowere octave...who can blame him...thoses songs are bleedin' high

also Plant had surgery in 1974. Robert had surgery to remove some nodes on his vocal chords. The result was that he could no longer hit those really high notes. Very sad to be honest.

It,s great to see and hear one of the biggest rock bands in the world before a mixed down sound, they sound just like a tight garage band living down the road.Bonham seems to pick up on anything Page' is going to play with or without the cues.Probably years of playing together helps.

Their last show before this was a week before this 8/4/79 and there were two shows before that 7/23-24/79, but those were there first in exactly two years before 7/23-24/77. Plant is in his best pipes sense 72 IMO, and this is definatley better than Earl's Court. Lastly I dont hear boos either I hear "more" with other loud chants.
