Damn right. The new treaty is being imposed to us all Europeans without a referendum. The former treaty (which was basically identical to the current, minus the flag, anthem and minor stuff) was rejected by France and the Netherlands in referendum. They (our "elected" gov's) won't allow the population to vote this time because they now it wouldn't pass again (Ireland is our only hope, since they must have a referendum).

The reason is that there are no soveriegn nations in Western Europe, as a result of the Mastrich Treaty. The swindle of establishing the euro meant noone in euorope controls their own credit, and therefore by definition, are not soveriegn. They are of course invited to join. Just that none of them have the power to help. Whereas Russia, China, and India, and the United States, all still have a semblance of independence from the financial oligarchy.
