@666zombiemike each has their own strength and weakneses. Les is especial when it comes to making fire and staying without food for a long time. But he is not great in hunting, and is fraid of height which Bear is great at both.

Overally I believe, Les can survive longer time compare to Bear.

For me, the scariest part is that FIRST night you go to sleep in the cold.... Cus if you can wake up after a night in the freezing, then you can do it agian. Lol. And for all you fanatics arguing over Bear, and Les, well... they all have their pros and cons. Both are decent. But I prefer Les for the simple fact Grylls has an annoying voice.

Les Stroud, even more bad ass then Bear Grylls. Works and goes to survive even while ill and in the arctic too. Bear would probably call in sick and do an episode when he is feeling better, with his camera crew to help him survive while they go to a hotel to sleep after shooting and eat at some restaurant as well.

But they are in town, 11hours away.

However Les has a sat phone for safety reasons.

@tormenter012 He's probably trying to discourage wannabe woodsmen from causing unnecessary suffering. When I was growing up we used to hunt/poach to eat but I wouldn't dream of doing it unless it was necessary. People killing animals because they think it's interesting or fun are retards.
