Wow, guys it's just a video game. If you get Virus and don't cure it you're not going to have to worry about leveling up since you're not going to be gaining experience. That's how you can go through the game at level 1 without cheating.

Why is it considered a 'low level' game? Even if you exit Evil Forest at Level 2, it's still low level. Should be called 'Level 1 Game'.

You get the Moonstone when you impress 100/100the nobles in the fake fight with blank and after that talk with steiner with the queen and you wil get the moonstone. (correct me if i am wrong i haven´t played this game in a long time)

IIRC, your playthrough counts as a true L1G as long as you don't use a main character above level one in battle. It doesn't matter that three characters will level up in the You're Not Alone sequence as long as you don't use them after they've levelled up.

Hardest FF challenge would probably go to FF1: low-level no class change solo thief. The lvl 1 game isn't too difficult except for certain bits and pieces like the Alexandria escape & Iifa tree for example. Try Low-Level+Excalibur II+Perfect Game for a real challenge ;)

I'd say the hardest part in my first playthrough was the escape from Alexandria on Disc 2. It's seven mandatory battles in a row, some of them extremely difficult.
