  • I think it is something to do with lack of water. Which would make sense as they have just been moved meaning the roots have not got established again yet...

    I have seen flowers on them but usually later in the season which is why it worries me at this time of year. I am just pulling out the flowers as them come thought.

  • Our rhubarb has also started to flower but I just hacked the flower stalk off and I'm hoping that this will allow me to enjoy some more rhubarb, if not I'll have to wait until next year. :0(

  • Hey mate I am not sure about the rhubarb I have just took over my nan's garden and the other day she pointed out some spinach from last year and some rhubarb is starting to flower, I want to see if we can collect some seeds from either. Not sure what's the best course of action, if you pick it or let it flower.
