Britney can sing beautifully. She's being asked to make tracks in a key which will sell commercially. Yet, her voice isn't naturally at that key, so they're not flattering her. @MissSpearsFan since I've seen Beyoncé perfoming live, I assure you that she does sing live, even the songs that require exhautives choreographies. sometimes, she has a back track during the chorus but, even when that happens, she sings (with mic ON) over that back track. I've seen several concerts from 'POP/RnB divas' and Beyoncé was, by far, the only one who could sing live while giving amazing choreographic shows. Britney has her merit, but she and Beyoncé are totally different league ;)

I used to like Britney and I'd always gave her props but, nowadays, I can't even listen to her new songs (the auto-tune and electronic arrangements just drive me crazy). and I always thought she wasn't a power vocalist (just acceptable) and I'm not a huge fan of her dance moves, but she knows how to dance well. For those of you who keep saying it's Las Vegas open two windows and go to YouTube and watch both this version and las Vegas version and you'll see she does some of the choreography different, from moving her hands to the camera view. That's the audio from the microphone superimposed on the backtrack. People were actually only hearing the backtrack, she just sings into the microphone to make it seem like she's singing live.
She's actually singing live "over" the track in this particular concert..i think they were prob just testing it out (maybe from the lipsyncing critisism for las vegas) because this was "after" the las vegas hbo concert..she does sound tired but i think the kinda "off" sound is the mixture of the studio track with her singing live over it and also from being tired...gotta give her credit though for even singing live at all to be honest lol

That's the audio from the microphone superimposed on the backtrack. People were actually only hearing the backtrack, she just sings into the microphone to make it seem like she's singing live.

She's actually singing live "over" the track in this particular concert..i think they were prob just testing it out (maybe from the lipsyncing critisism for las vegas) because this was "after" the las vegas hbo concert..she does sound tired but i think the kinda "off" sound is the mixture of the studio track with her singing live over it and also from being tired...gotta give her credit though for even singing live at all to be honest lol

you're totally right! she doesn't sing well, but this dancing, this song...it's so hard to do this at the same time!! so, u can say that she's incredible here!!
i can compare her singing bad n' dancing at the same time with her faking as well as the cd version...i prefer this britney so far!!! i actually hate circus tour :(
