@InflatiblePalmTree It does if he can make good music. :) Something that most of the asian pianists can't do, because they're too busy "perfecting" the piece rather than feeling it.
I am getting ready to start this Etude but i am seeing a cinfusion in the measures. When you are ascending on the first arpeggio is it C,G, mid.C, E then backwards to mid.C? meaning you go back to the C you already played then keep going up? becuase that seems difficult to play.
Yes... if you follow the fingering on the sheet it shouldn't be that hard (I mean the first measure, which is one of the easiest). 1245 1245 etc. It flows naturally after a couple of hours of practice.
pretty nice job, a few wrong notes here and there, but it's a tricky etude!
try a few more experiments with colour changes (especially when he changes between major and minor modes) and dynamics and I think it could add a lot to the performance.
try a little experimentation with the pedal too, maybe less in certain sections for clarity of articulation
good facility with your fingers though, keep up the practicing!
wow. i like it. you played predominantly with your fingers rather than wrist/arm/hand. Good facility. I think more fluid motion in the hand would help though.

good work pal, but you do need to polish it further, thee are too many slips and wrong notes. Give youself a 3 year dairly practice if you are not a full time pianist.
Please work smarter do another recording...less than 3 slips in total.
big hands!! lol

How long have you been playing this?

Your skills justify a Steinway grand piano, and a less creaky piano bench.

@trevorjc11 Articulation and such is difficult when one already struggles with the notes. Its a hard piece and I think he did a good job.
