You're very welcome, the way to boost your audio is simple just follow these steps! Click Start, then Control Panel, Click Hardware and Sound, then click Sound again (green icon), Click Speakers ONCE to highlight it, then you'll see properties on the bottom left, Click Properties! Click the Enhancements tab on the top of the new window. In the box you will see a bunch of items you can select! Scroll down and select Loudness Equalization! Then hit Apply and exit! Double the volume output!
Also id recommend purchasing a Broadcom Crystal HD adapter and install it, it allow full 1080p Flash and H.264 playback. No more slow videos online! You can pick one up for 20 bucks on ebay!
Thanks for your comment! I wasn't bitching, I was just saying exactly what I experienced as a new buyer. I tried to go into the volume settings and changing them, but they are all up to full volume. It's still really quiet, so maybe I either have a different kind than yours or am simply looking in the wrong place. And the fact that it's starting to act weird, like randomly going back a page and such, it's starting to make me nervous. Thanks for the tip about the mic, I'll try and fix that, too.
I own the same netbook, and its one of the best on the market for the price! And no offense the netbook is actually VERY loud you have to change the loudness equalization and you get double the audio power. As far as the mic goes its actually one of the best out there, and if you go into audio settings you can enable the background noise cancellation. You realllllly shouldn't complain about ANYTHING being small on a netbook, its like buying a kids meal and bitching you didn't get enough to eat!
How do you install the broadcom crystal HD? Is there an extra mini-pci express slot?

I don't know about the first one, but they don't have an extra mini-pci express slot.

Not from the outside. I meant inside the netbook. Some brands have 2 "internal" mini pci-e, one used for wifi and the other not occupied.
