WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE AT THIS CONCERT IN 1971 AT THE MIAMI MARINE STADIUM...........PETE RIVERA..GIL BRIDGES...MARK OLSON... JOHN PERSH......RAY MONETTE...EDDIE GUZMAN.......LIVE FOREVER.......>ULISES.....MIAMI FLA
Blue eyed soul throwing it down.....I saw these guys with Earth , Wind and Fire and The Funkadelics in 1974....One the baddest concert I've ever been at....
You kept the all the best bits in except for the trade 4s between Ed Guzman (congas and timbales) and Pete Rivera (drums). One of the best ever trades in Rock or even Jazz.
Ahhhhh! One of the great bands of the era that really knew how to perform in front of a live audience. I've played drums for 50 years (yes, I'm an old man now) and I'm qualified to say lead singer/drummer of this group was kick/ass good.
@donkuni I hear you Bro, I hear you.... long live tht amazing adventurous musical spirit of the 70s.... I too feel lucky indeed to have been part of it.
I had 8 tracks of rare earth, robin trower, led zepplin, bachman turner overdrive, and tapes of Nazareth, Uriah Heap, Bad Co, Ted Nugent, Allman Brothers, Lynrd Skynard
the Outlaws, Jimi Hendrix...all available to play in my best friends 67 Chevy malibu that we street raced and cruised the strip....oh those were the days of my youth
@MrSnookies Hell yeah, "Quadraphonic" sounds groovin out of the optional four speaker 8-track system in my 70 Challenger RT. The volume was allways cranked so you could hear it over the rythm of that 440 Magnum.
@Tarten46 My good friend had a GTO with a 400 small block in it, we loved to race that thing....till the tires melted off. Oh yea....the volume was all the way up.....
@bloodgrace1 -my favorite comment-I grew up listening to all the above with 4 older brothers-plus 2 sisters, I am blessed with the best music, thank you!!
You kids have no idea what you're missing.., Saliva, 3 Days Grace, AlterBridge, Nickleback..., Good Bands..,, Grand Funk, 3 Dog Night, Deep Purple, Rare Earth, Led Zepplin..., GODS~!!! LOL :)
My EX and her cohorts got away with approx 900 of my LP's and over 500 45's during our divorce. SO somewhere in FT.LAUDERDALE they're probably still laying around. Disc Jockey for many years,,nine stations. 1958-1980. see my webpage THEMOJOMAN(.)COM
I used to have this album along with alot of other great classic albums...gave them away...what the hell was I thinking?!...just a kid didn't know better haha.
