A major disagreement I have with you is that you sight the moon during the day and not during the night. Remember, the sun rules the day and the moon rules the night. Evening is part of the day. The day does not end a sunset. Night begins when the stars can be seen. It is during the night when the moon performs its job. When the stars appear the moon rules, when they begin to disappear, the sun begins to rule.
A first crescent that sets before night begins is not a valid sighting
