  • MONTY PYTHON + CANADIAN POLITICS = CANADIAN POLITICS

  • Bande de cons

  • I'm an anglophone from Montreal lots of experience and lots of education in very highly skilled professions. But i can't get a job because I don't speak french.

shouldn't we all stop discriminating against each other so we all can have good lives?

  • PART 1 of 4 - The problem is not likely your credentials. The problem is living in a province that has gone to great lengths to preserve its mother tongue. There are few intelligent people within the Francophone or Anglophone communities who would disagree with this. The laws enacted within Quebec to preserve the mother language are or border on a violation of The Charter but few challenge this, preferring a time-based solution.

  • PART 2 of 4 - Arithmetic has no mercy eventually the Francophone will become assimilated into the North American culture. Currently in Quebec it is language that takes precedent in hiring parameters. For those who have had dealings with many levels of public service in Quebec, particularly in the border communities, it is blatantly apparent that language qualification as opposed to ability has taken precedent. It will change in time. Current laws slow the process - it will not stop it.

  • PART 3 of 4 - The results at the Plains of Abraham was established in 1759 and solidified in 1760. The ongoing battle for the People of Canada, to think and act as one, with common interest, is much less to do with language and more to do with common good. It should always be best person for the job, regardless of gender or mother tongue, living in present-day. To have it any other way is a step backward for all concerned.

  • PART 4 of 4 - For now, your solution, is seeking a job, out-of-province where these principles are firmly established. Best of luck.

  • just go to T.O. you will get a good job ther. That is what UI am doing. Anyway Quebec is not that good of a place, they can't even make good roads. Make the move and your life will fly.

  • Don't know but I've went into other parts of Canada.. and the roads are quite awful there. It's due to the country climate bucko.

  • you can't get a job in Montréal becose you don't speak french? And I COULDN'T get a job in the ROC either if I didn't speak english! I once worked in Banff and I spoke english. Like we couldn't find a decent job if we couldn't speak spanish in Spain nor in Germany if we didn't speak german. That's just common sense

  • @MrHoser100 If I lived in Germany yet could not speak German. I would also be jobless. Learn a language, won't kill you.

  • you spiteful moron, the state of the French language has been pretty much unchanged since the seven years war, you can't assume that a culture that has survived more than 400 years will suddenly fizzle out, it's assholes like you that caused the whole seperatist movement.

Our best leaders have been Quebecois, Laurier, Trudeau, Chretien, etc

infact, Cartier was the one who thought of the name Canada in the first place

the french are an essential part of Canada and that will never change

  • Well Cartier misunderstood what canada meant :P It's funny how the name of your country actually means village!

    But we all do mistakes.

  • @Raindarsus "we all MAKE mistakes"

  • the maple leaf on your flag= the original "canadien" or french canadian emblem. The national anthem of Canada=the first "canadien" anthem. Even the fucking beaver! all stolen from the french "canadian" Therefore Canada sucks

  • Right, incorporating different aspects of Canada is stealing. You are as bad as the anti-Québec shitheads here out west.

  • Therefore Canada sucks? All those French Canadian things are part of Canada. It bothers me that so many french want to leave this country when they're such an integral part of it. Canada doesn't suck, it just has problems. We could fix those problems if we were more focussed on being a country instead of just being french or english.

  • With in a centruy the French Language will be dead in the Province of Quebec.

French Canadians will be assimulated from uncivilised French Canadians into civilised Anglo-Canadians.

In 1 Century the Province of Quebec will be no differant from such provinces as Albeta and Ontario because English will be the sole language in Quebec and French would have died out.

French Canadians are a people with no Literature and no History

    Loser

    CANADA RULE

  • This is a very interesting prediction. I live in Montreal and I'm Anglophone, I really want to know what makes you so sure?

  • French Canadian are natural born looser

    A nation of pussy

    Twice they try

    Twice they lose

Immigration, the figure are on ourside

    Time work for us

soon they will be a minority

The last election we give a majority to the liberal

The P.Q. will soon be dead

    We own them

  • Well I really hope you're right. ;)

  • I am

French Canadian are NAtural Born Loser

    One country

    One flag

    One Nation

    One Language

    CANADA RULE

    keebeekoua suck

  • haha couldn't agree more =D

  • ACtually the PQ won 15 more seat that the previous elections.

Get your fact straight next time. We clearly see that you are short minded since most of country on this planet have more than 1 official langage. BTW you'Re se beloved emblem and country was made by french. Open some history book you coward hiding behind hate.

You may call quebecers racist and facist, actually looks like you're the one that correspond to his description.

  • What the hell was that?

  • Canadian cultural production is 87% made in Québec. So I dont understand what you are talking about literrature and culture...

  • You really got to be a moron there. You can't even get your freaking corner stores owners to speak to you in English, in Toronto!! How do you even expect for your beloved language to last an other century? You yourselves are slowly being colonized by the growing immigration. Because both our nations have a big problem. We don't procreate, or very little compared to the other nations out there.

So before you make an arse of yourself and show that you are just a kid. Think before posting.

Some people are such fucking hypocrites.

  • Try to destroy his reputation in that case by giving an untrue image. Les Québécois ne sont pas fascistes mais pour ceux qui méconnaissent cette culture , it is hard for you to understand. Peace!

  • betrano2 thanks for elaborating. No one is suggesting that the people of Quebec are fascists - where the hell did you get that! I spend a great deal of time in Quebec. The people are warm, kind and I love the culture. Again this video comes under comedy NOT news and politics. As some one else wrote here if you can't see the humour you're taking life far too seriously.

  • its always the same thing with people who fear what they dont understand. They try to destroy what they fear. That's all!

  • Some elaboration may be required here. Who is trying to destroy what? This short clip actually comes under Comedy not News and Politics :)

  • If you use a laptop and type in French more than 50% of the time I suggest using French as a the primary computer/system language. This can be purchased this way or changed easily on most systems. I agree working the accents on an English keyboard is a bit tricky.

  • very hilarious.

  • this is a riot for french or english. if you can't see the humor you're taking life far too seriously. lighten up frenchies
