  • is the triplebucker dirty?

  • @SANDU3108 VERY :O

  • @testing123reviews Sweet!

  • @testing123reviews sweet ! would you recommend it for a punk-rock type of sound (Blink 182/green day)?

  • I'm torn between this guitar and the Modern Tele plus. I already have a les paul and want something different for some blues, classic rock, and country. The triple bucker seems interesting, how does it compare to a standard humbucker? For blues would the Modern Tele plus get a better classic Jimmy style sound or will the jazzmaster pickup in the Marauder still do the same?

  • @upnorthbacon The Triplebucker is a bit too hot. I think the Modern Player Tele would be better suited for the styles you want to play.

  • @upnorthbacon Just to throw in my two cents... I own the modern player tele+. I really like it, but the pickups left a lot to be desired (replaced lately with GFS liverpool, lipstick and fatbody). Style of tone aside, the marauder seems a bit more "complete" out of the box.

  • The 'Lake Placid Blue' model is more beautiful than Naomi Watts.

  • hmmmmm.... i might be buying this guitar

  • Does the triplebucker slot accommodate a humbucker should I choose to switch?

  • @bigmuffexpress I think you might be able to put a humbucker in the bridge, you might want to run the idea by a luthier to see if it will fit.

  • First fender I've considered buying

  • @testing123reviews Thanks!

  • can it play blues and classic rock?

  • @3113rit Yes! :)

  • is it versatile? my band at the moment play a lot of different styles of music and i want a guitar that can cope with everything

  • @dralseth It is really versatile. The 5 way switch can get a wide variety of tones.

  • would this guitar be good for playing grunge?

  • @dodgebee440 Yes it would be great for playing grunge, the unique body lends itself well to that style and the triplebucker sounds killer for heavy riffs.

  • You may not know about these kind of tunes, but i'm in an indie rock band, and i was wondering, is this good for covers of songs like the arctic monkeys, vampire weekend, the libertines and such like? Thanks for the video :)

  • @ReportedTV I think this guitar would be perfect for indie rock music. It has a quirky look and great tones to back it up.

  • Sweet man thanks for the info. I spotted this guitar at guitar center cause my friend told me about it. I will be getting this around Christmas hopefully. It's affordable too. Can't wait to play it at guitar center.

  • Can this be used for punk? Like modern and old? Like blink-182 & dead kennedys?

  • @MeJuan99 It can do punk very well, unique body shape coupled with the triplebucker will suite that style extremely well.

  • Are you going to review sometime soon the modern player telecaster? Is the Modern Player Series now replacing the Squier Classic Vibe Series? I was planning on getting the Jazzmaster after the holidays. I was really digging the Classic Vibe Series.

  • @guitarjammer1 I will be demoing the Modern Player Tele very soon, the Modern Player series is part of a new Fender line, and won't replace the Squier Classic Vibe series.

  • Is a good guitar for shoegazing? I like the Squier J Mascis, but I don't know what is better.

  • A Jazzmaster pickup is not a P90. JM pickup has rod magnets while the p90 has a bar magnet and steel screws. They look similar but sound quite different.

  • Can this guitar put out a rickenbacker/tele type jangle?

  • @hurpaderpp I think if you select the middle position on the pickup selector you can get those jangely tones

  • "Made in China" - that's all I need to know. I'll pass.

  • Groovy shades man...

  • @rocker940 Haha cheers dude :)

  • Thats is made in mexico right

  • @BigEvilLadia23 The Marauder is made in China.

  • Test played this guitar today when i was looking for a blacktop jaguar. This is a players guitar hands down. My fingers sank right into it. Awesome guitar for the price of 400 dollers.

  • I use a ds-1 with a lot of dist. does the triplebucker handle good the disortion? I know that the ds-1 is not a metal or heavy dist. but I want to know wath you think

  • @pablohammerfall The triplebucker is made for distortion! It handles it extremely well. The DS-1 sounded great with this guitar, the settings on the pedal in this video were Level: 12 o'clock Tone: 11o'clock and Dist: 1 o'clock.

  • is the guitar as heavy as a stratocaster? or is it lighter?

  • @HenrySchecker It might be a tiny bit lighter than a Strat.

  • @testing123reviews is it a fun guitar? I'm torn between this and a squier vintage modified jaguar

  • @HenrySchecker It is a really fun guitar to play. The 5 way switch makes it really versatile, it has a great tremolo system which you can use to add a nice warble to chords and leads, or you can block it off. The Vintage Modified Jag is cool guitar too, we have one in stock and I'll be doing a video on it very soon.

  • Will there be a review of the fender telecaster modern player plus soon?

  • @TrystanHT There will be very soon. Stay tuned!

  • First song is from Richie Kotzen!!

    nice demo

  • @richiepowa Gotta love a bit of Kotzen. One of my favourite players :)

    Thanks for the comment

  • @guitarjammer1 Thanks bud, more videos coming soon so stay tuned!

    Josh

  • Nice review, I was wondering what these sounded like.

One thing though, it's a jazzmaster pickup in the neck not a p90.

  • @SidVicious1207 Thanks mate.
