  • The biggest premise on which his book assumes is that it is easy to hack into systems.

    Its so theoretical.

It acts as if a third grader could do all this.

i am starting to wonder if this whole thing - the book, the media is all part of PR scheme to start a new war that will involve China then the rest of Asia by association.

Here is a country (China)that is really starting to make money r we just jealous??

China this China that ...what about Russia this, Venezuela that, Cuba this.

  • Rumor goes, cyber attacks also increase CO2 levels and heat up the sun...

  • Richard Clarke argues that the Government should regulate the internet to protect Americans. But what is there to protect the people from their own Government? The internet is the last bastion of free speech and the greatest beacon of democracy. I've seen what the internet in China looks like... the Chinese people can only view sites that are approved by their Government. It has become the Government's tool of propaganda and any dissent on forums are removed within minutes of being posted.

  • This is exactly why they introduced the cyber security bill.

  • Richard Clarke devising new FALSE FLAG OPERATIONS.

    just like operations NORTHWOODS, 9/11

  • @iknewitalready Absolutely correct. He is setting himself up for "cyber attack" counter measure contracts. These globalist clowns will profit off of the crisis they create and shut down the internet.

The globalists fear that the people are waking up.

  • Cyber hack?! What? Thank goodness we have nukes....ugh

  • This is hard core programming for a false flag attack on the internet. If anything happens to the internet look to who Russia or China? lol ok The American government is broke and hated by Americans and most of the planet and now the government media complex wants us to believe some danger is out there. No Sorry CIA and NSA leave the internet alone. This "news" is psychological warfare and people need to learn how they do it so you don't get tricked again. Leave the internet free!

  • @PioKolby according to the US senate he United States hates Iran now, its their new target.

  • Beware of cyber security.

Internet freedoms will be under attack by our own government in no time.

  • Maddow is a Rhodes Scholar (Scholarship created by Billionaire Freemason Cecil Rhodes - Founder of De Beers), Well-Educated Establishment Neocon Freemason Pro-NWO/NATO Puppets who become trained to do the bidding of rich & powerful groups & keep rest of the world oppressed/fearful are given scholarships to Oxford University (Maddow is one of them, this freemason puppet at GE is programmed to support Establishment Dems, Rothschild, Rockefeller, Neocons & Zionists)

    nndb. com/honors/422/000041299

  • @halcyon0830 umm... neocons hate Rachel Maddow... they dismiss her for being a "dyke" and they don't give a shit what she thinks about anything. Why are you attacking Rachel Maddow?

  • @halcyon0830

Rachel Maddow is evil because Cecil Rhodes founded De Beers?? That really doesn't make any sense.

The Internet shows that everything truly is linked to everything else. It's a small world. That makes finding a link between two people LESS significant than it has ever been before.

By fewer than six degrees of separation, we're ALL connected. That's a good thing, not a bad thing.

  • I am not just talking about Maddow, I am talking about the Full list of Rhodes Scholars and what they are doing now, just look at the people who got picked to be Rhodes Scholars (BTW, Cecil was a Top Freemason, his family had major connections to Bankers and other Wealthy Elites and he was a oppressive Neocon crook bent on profiting from Africa and oppressing the lower class and doing anything to get mega-rich, stay mega-rich, have tremendous influence, and the Rhodes Scholars follow his agenda)

  • @halcyon0830

But why? Rachel Maddow knows who Rhodes is. Why would she follow his agenda?

Rhodes died a hundred years ago. I'm sure Rachel would say he was an asshole and she's glad he's dead.

They name scholarships after all kinds of wealthy people. I'm sure there are hospital wings all over the world who are actually named after monsters who made their money through theft and then, at the end of their lives, had more than they could spend and hated their own children.

  • Establishment-Slave Military-Industrial-Complex-Puppet Neocon-Disguised-As-A-Truth-Teller Richard Clarke WILL SAY AND DO ANYTHING TO SELL HIS BOOKS FILLED WITH LIES.

  • I have been a network engineer and security consultant for over 25 years. They have no idea what they are talking about.

  • yea right .. thats how they sell you filtering and censorship of the Internet. Like those AT&Ts will not cooperate when ordered.

  • Power corrupts and absolute power will corrupt absolutely...trust AT&T????

  • The problem is that the only real way for the government to try and protect USA as a whole from cyberattacks would be to regulate the internet to the point where there is a shut-off valve that disconnects our country from the rest of the world. Scary prospect no matter how we look at it.

  • RACHEL MADDOW is a idiot and she sold out the Americans , i won,t be surprised to read in the paper some day that she was dropped off a high building

  • Pure BS. The international bankers control the CIA, MI6, Mossad and other agencies, who are the REAL terrorists. There probably will be some attack on the US in the near future but do NOT get duped like on 911.

There is good reason for Chinese, Koreans and Arabs to be pissed at US but all attacks and assassinations are actually orchestrated by the CIA.

  • It's hard to watch Mr. Maddow for more than 15 seconds.

  • No, no, no. I don't want the govt to take care of me.

The govt will NOT defend anything, they will use it for THEIR benefit.

This problem, although small at the moment, is an issue for private cyber-security related companies to come up with solutions.

  • @pzmtuthcvpvl No it has to do with their copious weed intake.

    E-stoney-a

  • @SubmarinerAndroid happy 4-20 day

  • @SubmarinerAndroid I am from E-Stoned-Ya and yes, we do a lot of weed

I remember that Russian denial attack thing, everything slowed down for a day or so

  • Believe me...The government is watching. But like Mr. Clark said: They're only interested in defending critical government systems. Laws will need to be passed to change this if it's something the People want.

And they didn't even discuss our most sensitive and easy to hack systems...with good cause.

  • Washington doesn't like regulation? But, but the Teabaggers told me Obama was a socialist, commie Nazi.

  • private companies?

    he's nuts

  • Mail order Russian Bride(s).

  • You dont want the government doing it because you're in the pocket of AT&T you son of a bitch. Lets have it your way old man, just don't complain when you need to wait 3 hours to load a website that doesn't pay the ISP $1k a year.

  • @3GBlog I don't think that's what Richard Clark was saying at all. I think he was saying that government needs to regulate industry to do cyber defense themselves. In other words, if you are going to be doing business as an ISP, or backbone provider, there are certain rules you must follow to be in this business. One of them is to have a cyber attack defense strategy. It doesn't mean you need a war room like in War Games; you just need a plan of action in the event something happens.

  • @3GBlog ... and as they stated, you can filter for security without filtering for content. Government should be responsible for making sure companies follow the rules of security, but not actually engage in the defense of these companies. Which is sort of contrary to what he was talking about in the beginning. I dunno, might have to read his book to get the full picture.

  • @3GBlog How is Richard Clarke in at&t's pocket?
