Someone should make a video of the Mpk49 From start to finish how to access the instruments and sound to how to record using reason in all .Had Mpk 49 for about month now still lost .This is not a plug in go kind of Keyboard at all.I am not sure if mines dont work or my lack of knowledge of said machine .
@BlockStar10 the mpk series do not produce any sounds they are MIDI controlers. See it as a computer keyboard but for making music. You use it whit music production softwares like ableton live. If you bought the mpk49 without knowing this you are pretty stupid.

My akai mpk49 wont work on my windows 7 laptop, i think its the drivers, any help??, the keyboard shows up as working properly but it will not work with any software. please comment, or inobox me back
@Supaj00 So i guess sensitive means, you dont have to push it too hard, because when i push it less and it still makes a sound. The sound is more quiet.
a man nice job i have a question and i know you can probably answer since you use reason 4 too im new to it and i just got me a nanopad for chords and sampling now can you tell me how to get a sample chopped to each pad on my nanopad i used recycle then dr rex but the problem the sample thats chopped only work on some pads but not all 12 pads so can you please help me???????????????????????????????

My friend has it. Its only a controller. And He says the mpc is hard to press, like he as to literally beat it down.

@PHNTMBass i had the same problem when I used Akai Mpk 49 on my computer. make sure that it is plugged in to a USB 2.0, and it'll work

I think it's hard to push the buttons on the MPK, but i bought it used so maybe it's because of that?

Got to have 12 chops to have it on each pad =/ so make smaller slices or just use more chops. All u need to do.
