Fuckin great man, thank you very much for posting this. Dee Dee Ramone is the king of rock and roll and "Standing in the Spotlight" is great as anything he had ever done. There are some songs on this album that would make anyone with a heart cry.
I really dont see anything sad about Dee Dee's rap carreer, He did it because he felt like it. The record is probably the most real and honest rap album ever, he pulled it off in a goofy dee dee-esque way... + he knew he wasnt that good (Im doing rap, not beethoven).
Joe Franklin deserves a ping pong bat slamming hard against the center of his asshole, for insulting Dee Dee like this. Dee Dee oughta have punched Joe out, steal his wig, and sell that freakin´wig on 53th and have a nice cheese- burger from macdonalds for supper and then steal some gold teeth from the cemetary and then rap for coins at the subway station - COOL PLAN !

I love this album, as in really really love it, there are some really well written tracks + Dee Dees charisma overshadows the flaws - of course, his flow is pretty absent, but who gives a shit?
