it's a "flavor" over skills track and it works very well. Mos Def is a great artist. I actually think Hip Hop is fading on two fronts. There is ofcourse commercial Hip Hop that is killing the "skills side" of Hip Hop. But then some of the underground stuff (and Eminem) are killing the "flavor" of Hip Hop. The skill is the body and the flavor is the soul, it can't live without either one. This track shows that Mos Def gets that.
