Fabulous, insightful work. As an artist, I say to those who have previously commented - look at the bigger picture here - The patterns of life and the layers of patterns that constitute and uphold all of life.
i wonder if she would find it amusing to use human corpses. i am not recomending this but shows how she sees these insects as objects and not subjects
it seems a celebration of human exploitation of creatures that we should share our planet respectfully with. being at the top of the food chain as we currently are does not mean we should abuse our power, as with much power comes great responsibilty to never abuse it- this is what seperates us from animals- our consciousness and our ability to be conscientiousness- best to excercise such a gift
the sanitisation of their corpses- the purging of literally thousands of these beatles and then the air /road/ and maybe even boat miles creating carbon all to help remove humans further from true understanding of the natural world. i mean what about displaying them alive in an interesting fashion- if the medium is insisted upon-
isnt this all a waste of life and purely a demonstration of another way we humans ravage the earth for our own mere amusement- not even for survival anymore- how ugly and frivilous. i cant help but think this doesnt demonstate our "connection with creatures" but rather serves to highlight our disregard for their sanctity and the delusions of grandeur some have .
If you are truly comfortable with death, as a PART of life-
If you realize death comes to all at the end of their own specific purpose-
If you understand that the animals and *plants* we eat are killed to elevate life-
Then what she has done transforms from something to be horrified, upset, and angry about to something to celebrate and appreciate.
This woman is putting her heart, soul, and career into showing the world something through her art.
Love the haters, they also serve a purpose :D

a true artist would try and create these as models and that would be more impressive.
