People buy fakes because they cannot afford the real thing. Or that they are stingy to not spend money on a luxury brand item but prefer to advertise the brand through their fake counterfeit items.

These are the people who strive to fit in the rich crowd but does not really have the money for it. The thrive in the illusion that they carry a luxury brand item, but really own the cheap counterfeit imitation. it's despicable.
