lol look at all these haters!! i understand hating ur rivals but anyone who cant give respect where its due isnt a real sports fan..theyre just a bunch of idiots
it's a great documentary this, but it's a bit harsh on the likes of carmazzi and the others, i mean it's not their fault they were drafted before brady, and even though im so happy it worked out for tom, i dont think it's nice to take pleasure in other people failing.....at times this p;rogramme seems to rip on bulger and carmazzi a little.....
@hjastroi it's not really about them though I think the whole thing is supposed to be critical of the drafting system/the scouts..it's like you really think you have all this criteria that people can fit in, but it at the end of the day, all that matters is what happens when they get to the NFL and play
Your assertion that Eli is "overrated" is hyperbole. He played silky smooth in the most important game of his life, under a lot of pressure and skepticism. That pass to Manningham embodies how UNDERRATED Eli actually is. He played just as good as Brady, if not, a little better. Yet, with maybe another minute or so to work with, there was no doubt in my mind Brady would've made the comeback. Neither Eli or Brady or anyone are perfect, but learn to give credit where it's due.
Your assertion that Eli is "overrated" is hyperbole. He played silky smooth in the most important game of his life, under a lot of pressure and skepticism. it really is stunning that giants fans really think eli is better than brady now. eli is by far the most inconsistent QB in the entire league. what happened to him leading the league in interceptions last year? Cool, he won the super bowl this year but all of brady's stats absolutely destroy eli's. there is no comparison between them
@Silenthunter287 - Oh yeah, and no one watches that ridiculous, fake drama crap you call wrestling. I mean, really? So that analogy isn't gonna work.
Brady simply can't make the big plays like Eli and the Giants can when they absolutely NEED to. That makes Eli better, not luckier. He doesn't choke. He always remains calm (And you never see him lash out in anger like bitch boy Brady) He is elite.
@CommonSense8102 brady cant make plays when they need to? please give me an example of when he didnt. yeah he didnt make a comeback in this year's superbowl because of 2 dropped passes. if we're talking purely QB to QB comparison, tom brady destroys eli in every category
@Silenthunter287 - Haha, you know, I'd take you serious...but the fact that you ignore the absolute beautiful throws by Eli to allow those balls to be catchable kind of drowns out any butthurt excuses you come up with.
The catch to Manningham more than the Tyree ball. He threw into double coverage and the had the absolute smallest window...and nailed it. Perfectly on target. Did see Brady throw a ball like that.
I won't argue with those who say that Brady is the best QB in the NFL...but Eli has beaten Brady TWICE in the Super Bowl...can't deny that either :-) ;-)
@ckendall67 again ELI has a great defense and if deion branch caught the ball on that last drive he would have been gone and if welker caught the ball on the previous drive the game would be ovr and the pats would win.I've been impressed with eli this year he's an elite QB for sure in the leauge I'll put him ahead of peyton for one reason he doesn't choke in the postseason.
@CommonSense8102 Thats stupid.Thats like saying Triple H is The Undertaker's bitch just cause he beat him twice at wrestlemania. In SB 42,Eli got lucky that Tyree caught his ball.In 46,Eli got lucky that Manningham caught the ball.Winning by luck doesnt count for shit imo.
Actually same story again with this year's Super Bowl. Stupid receivers couldn't catch the ball. Brady was definitely the better QB in the game especially considering he went against that Giants defense and Eli went against our pathetic defense (who played surprisingly well against the pass until the final drive. Against the run was where I thought we could do very well but we totally sucked in part cuz big Vince was almost nonexistent)
@nuglife44 Actually 6 cuz we had big lead on Colts in 2007 AFC Championship game but couldn't hold on cuz Brady had shit WRs who couldn't catch the ball (That's the reason we went out and got Randy Moss/Wes Welker/Donte Stallworth the following year). They definitely would have beaten the Bears too in SB 41
I remember watching this. Thanks for having it up. I humbly ask to check out my portrait of Tom Brady. I briefly mention this documentary in it too :).
If he had enough passion to cry about a sport, it really shows what kind of heart and determination he had. I can certaintly tell you that a lot of young adults don't have as much passion for what they do. A lot of them don't have the heart to continue something if they aren't successful at it.
You guys can cry that Tom Brady is a whiner. But the fact that this man can cry about draft day shows what kind of heart he has for the game. In that aspect, nothing but respect for Brady.
I never seen him cry, this man cried. I think that moment I understood, Tom Brady is no joke. He cried about that day, being passed up by all 32 teams 5 times. Tom Brady, I bet he'll slow down when he's 40 yrs old & still be kicking ass.
When that music is playing in the background and they get into the scouting report part at 5:40 I had chills run through my body. Incredibly inspiring whether you like like the man or not.
1:37, this is the reason why the fire still burns inside him. I've been there before and I am glad that Brady is a role model for the phrase "Hard work pays off"
It... probablyyyyy wasn't a good idea for me to watch this one week before the Giants Vs. Pats Super Bowl... I like Tom Brady after seeing this small window into his life and his struggle and honestly I have nothing but respect for the guy and I myself am inspired. Smh I'm from New York though and I'm going for the Giants. So... I'll like him til' Feb 5th, then hate him... then like him again lol. Gotta love what Sports do to you right?
@iBluairJgR RIGHT!? I am a huge Giants fan but after seeing this i kind of want Brady to win to prove everyone wrong. But come game day he will be dead to me.
u kno its funny how da ppl dey got doin dis doc. vid talkin about tom brady like dey was his friend in da beginning lik dey gave him a chance. n da irony is dat 10 yrs ago tom was a scrub n look at today 80% of da ppl talkin about tom doesnt even have a job rite now in da nfl, chad p. n marc .b mayb wud b da only 1 dat can really say sumthing but dey got there's 2
Honestly I dont think Brady would have been this good if he had been drafted in the the 1st, 2nd or 3rd round. Sometimes in life you need setbacks and adversity to push you to be the best ever
Man, if I were him, with the three rings, MVP awards and supermodel wife, I wouldn't be crying, I'd be like 'how'dya like me now, skrew all you guys, you can all eat my dust', but then again that's probably why I'm not him.
Steve Maricucci, " If we would of drafted him I would probobly be still coaching there right now"...That comment justifies that he is one of the top five ever.
This is my favorite part but this version is missing one part at the very end after Tom says "I wanna feel like I'm the best quarterback for this team" he says "I wanna earn it every single day" that gets me fired up.
The man has 3 SB rings, 2 NFL and SB MVP awards, guaranteed spot in the Hall of Fame, piles and piles of money, and exclusive access to Giselle's box and he still tears up over 199? That must have hit him harder than anyone knew.
@franklinchai I had never seen Brady come close to tearing up before this interview. That must have hurt. I think that's why he still carries that chip on his shoulder. Even now with all the money, the Super Bowls, the MVPs, and the girl, he still wants to prove to all those teams that they made a mistake not picking him. He was the best QB in that draft. And what are those 6 QB's picked ahead of him doing now? Not much.
This is proof enough as to why Tom Brady is one of the greatest QBs ever to play the game. He has always been my favorite player and this has proven why. I love how ESPN makes these specials seem so great
So... I don't get it; he does yoga WITH the goats or he does yoga TO the goats? I've never in my life heard of this & I live in LA where every imaginable type of "yoga" exists!
I think both Tee Martin and Spergon Wynn are doing all right. Spergon's about to finish up his MBA from a pretty good research univ. in UofH (one of my buddies had 2 core courses with him and says he's an awesome and funny dude) and Martin's a coach. I'd say that ain't bad transitioning out of competitive sports. But that was kinda cruel what they said about Carmazzi - "He has 5 goats." LMAO.
souds like Carmazzi and Henson both went downhill. At least Henson has a reasonable job, a sports broadcaster guy, and Carmazzi is a yoga farmer dude, wtf is that job???
in 10 years their gonna make a documentary on Joe Webb cuz he was also picked 199 last year and 7 qb's were picked over him and he's starting to play really good in clutch situations just like brady but Webb has got to be the most athletic and gifted qb i've ever seen cuz he runs a 4.40, has a 42 and a half inch vertical, 3.91 shuttle, 11 ft 5 broad jump, 21 reps of 225 pounds, has 11 inch hands and can throw a ball really far, all he needs is coaching and experience and that's easy to teach
@CVUEVikingfan28 Being a great Qb is not about being the most athletic. best Qbs are smart and make great reads on the defense. Know when to feel the pressure , read blitzes , and step up in the pocket at the correct time. Brady the most unathletic Qb in the game can avoid pressure and step up in the pocket avoiding defenses better than your most athletic qbs
@DMoneySplaaash3 i don't even take him seriously lol the only reason he still has a job is because he's completely ignorant to what it actually takes to be a professional athlete! I guess him being a complete jackass gives the show good enough ratings for him to actually still be on tv
It's not really a chip on my shoulder, it's just that feeling that man, maybe nobody wants you. You're very good, man you're still not very fast, you know, you've got a decent arm, you know, you made some pretty bad reads on that day . That's what gets me up and motivates me. I always want to feel like I'm the best quarterback on this team.
Call him the pretty boy or supermodel marrying superstar, but this guy IS the living proof of what you can do if you believe in yourself and work hard.
imma packers fan..BUT i know greatness when i see it. The dude was almost not picked. the NFL draft is very dramatic and is very serioulsy. if youre not picked you better find another job. Tom Brady= Greatness
How can people continue to hate this man when they see this? He's one of the hardest working quarterbacks and deserves all his accomplishments up to this point. Perhaps he may even win one more Super Bowl before its all said and done.
what a little bitch.... he cries about everything. hahah glad to see the giants kick his ass ..........TWICE!

@cisik123 It was simply to poke fun at him. Brady has 3 super bowl trophies; Carmazzi has 5 goats. Hahah

"He gets up comes downstairs and grabs a baseball bat, and starts walking up the street"
To this day, I still want to know what the hell the man did with that baseball bat lol. Was he taking out mailboxes or something?

That's the type of quarterback nfl needs now a days... Not those scrub players who plays fairly decent for big money...
truthEndlove 1 month ago
The man has 3 SB rings, 2 NFL and SB MVP awards, guaranteed spot in the Hall of Fame, piles and piles of money, and exclusive access to Giselle's box and he still tears up over 199? That must have hit him harder than anyone knew.
franklinchai 1 month ago 4

Three superbowl rings and Gisele as his wife that he bangs every night.... A total fuck you to all talent evaluators!

Gotta respect Tee Martin, Spergon Wynn and Chris Redman. They've been humbled.
Carmazzi is such a fucking loser. Decline to interview? WHY? Cause you're so ashamed of being a bum? Everyone has problems you coward.

in 10 years their gonna make a documentary on Joe Webb cuz he was also picked 199 last year and 7 qb's were picked over him and he's starting to play really good in clutch situations just like brady but Webb has got to be the most athletic and gifted qb i've ever seen cuz he runs a 4.40, has a 42 and a half inch vertical, 3.91 shuttle, 11 ft 5 broad jump, 21 reps of 225 pounds, has 11 inch hands and can throw a ball really far, all he needs is coaching and experience and that's easy to teach
CVUEVikingfan28 1 month ago
@CVUEVikingfan28 Being a great Qb is not about being the most athletic. best Qbs are smart and make great reads on the defense. Know when to feel the pressure , read blitzes , and step up in the pocket at the correct time. Brady the most unathletic Qb in the game can avoid pressure and step up in the pocket avoiding defenses better than your most athletic qbs

Aaaah..i like Joe Webb, i dont think hes been given a fair chance...but..no way is he turning out to be this good.

can u believe that skip bayless said tim tebow is MORE clutch than tom brady
DMoneySplaaash3 1 month ago
@DMoneySplaaash3 i don't even take him seriously lol the only reason he still has a job is because he's completely ignorant to what it actually takes to be a professional athlete! I guess him being a complete jackass gives the show good enough ratings for him to actually still be on tv
blckbenbiggiefan123 1 month ago
It's not really a chip on my shoulder, it's just that feeling that man, maybe nobody wants you. You're very good, man you're still not very fast, you know, you've got a decent arm, you know, you made some pretty bad reads on that day . That's what gets me up and motivates me. I always want to feel like I'm the best quarterback on this team.

imma packers fan..BUT i know greatness when i see it. The dude was almost not picked. the NFL draft is very dramatic and is very serioulsy. if youre not picked you better find another job. Tom Brady= Greatness
seanman70 2 months ago
How can people continue to hate this man when they see this? He's one of the hardest working quarterbacks and deserves all his accomplishments up to this point. Perhaps he may even win one more Super Bowl before its all said and done.
