  • This is what the BMW rep said...

  • This is a complete lie. Check the books. LONG BEACH BMW already had them on lot before the date of this filming. They even had a launch party. Here's proof, GOOGLE "s1000rr launch event long beach bmw" Next time check what you say first. Instead of LYING. The event was on 6-6-2009 in LBC California.

  • getting one in a few months...but gotta be honest, i dont like the front

  • Beautiful BMW. For me, the only liter bike that would make me cheat on my R1.

  • @Shogun09R1

how much is your insurance on your liter?

  • @Djrockz415 $614.00 a year for full coverage, with a $250.00 deductable thru AAA.

  • @Shogun09R1 how about RSV4

  • @shaerkhan82 ok.......so i'd cheat with an RSV4 also.

  • @Shogun09R1 lol like the way you put that, but nop R1 all the way. Havent riden the BMW hear its good but R1 is the love of my life. I have a 2007 loving it. I am sure the BMW is better but still R1 for me is the best.

  • @TheDna719 the cool thing about bikes is you can cheat a little and your bike won't divorce you :D

Try that with a woman and you might wake up on fire.....not speaking from experience, just sayin' ;)

  • @Shogun09R1 lol i understand what ur saying......but i have no experience with all that. Always stuck to cars and bikes woman had no time in my agenda lol. MOTO HEAD lol. So whats the bike you got?

  • Nice video! 2:30 That's not good for the bike...

  • @euheide - why, ive heard that before elsewhere too, but why is that mechnically bad for the bike?

  • Hello julingy, ;)

Because the engine is still cold, it must be warmed up for some time until they could give it those accelerations. Even warming up a stationary bike without acceleration is not ideal as the engine will still warm up too fast as there is no air going through the radiator. But what they're doing here is just overkill. You can call it "destroying the engine" ;). There are even other negative effects claimed about free revving itself, that it goes past the rev-limiter, etc

  • @julingy many people fall into the assumption that, because the water temperature is right, the engine must already be properly warmed up, but to properly and completely warm up the engine, it really takes much more time than the water itself warms up. You need to ride for more than 40 minutes so all parts properly heat up. Someone has even told me it takes an hour of riding.

  • @euheide dont be stupid it doesnt take an hour

  • cluchless startup? Is that another expression for start up in neutral? :)

  • exactly, 106hp, because legaly it's 100hp, but there is a tolerance of 6 per-cent...

106hp vs 193hp for the same bike, it's hard for the french biker...

    Welcome to France.

  • What happened to French "liberty" ?

  • @billysull

    it has been "sarkozyzed!

  • i see tha bike at the "bol d'or", in Nevers Magy Courts (I am French). Impressive! 198ch for 180kg, and the performances of a Japanaise bike... And this sound... I love it. For 15000 euros, this bike is not so expensive (the cost of a Yamaha R1), But with Sarkozy, impossible to play with (gzndarmerie ean police everywhere)... And in France, all bikes of more of 106ch are forbiden, or the engine are downsiding. So, if I buy it, I will lost the half of the power... Thank you Mr President...

  • 106 hp ? damn, thats hard

  • @madtux01 its 198ch for 204kg.

  • it's a very nice bike. i would love to get one.
