  • Nicotine is the most addictive drug known to man. If they removed nicotine from cigarettes no one would smoke. Smokers have to smoke. Every time the nicotine level in their blood falls below the level that their addicted brain says is comfortable it sends out an impossible to ignore wanting message that the addicted smoker can't ignore. Good news is that it only takes 72 hours to get the poison out of your system. Learn how to be free at dub whyquit dot com - Saved my life could save yours too.

  • well at least you'll look cool while you're dying

  • its not addictive i can smoke on and off o.o i just choose to smoke alot :P

  • lol nicotine isn't addicitve. Then why am I fiegning after 72 hours.

Why is it one puff will get me readdicted back to my old level.

  • If I was getting paid over six figures a year, hell yeah I'd say Nicotine is not addictive. Just don't ask me to smoke, now that's just plain evil.

  • HAHAHAHA IS THIS A JOKE?

  • I wannt shoot theses guys on street, I am smoker from 15 years, from the age of 11 years

  • Those are some mad ass lies... purgery....

  • nicotine is addictive, at least thats what ive heard

  • Try snus - Swedish snus. That american crap is just...crap.

  • ProudxSinner must be a PR person [liar] working for the tobacco industry. To figure out the truth, just reverse the meaning of everything he says.

  • "I wish I had never began smoking"

1984 Philip Morris document that said more than 85 percent of smokers agree strongly or very strongly with the statement. CNN 03/16/98

  • "...the market stems almost entirely from 18-year-old smokers. No more than 5 percent of smokers start after age 24.... Younger adult smokers are the only source of replacement smokers... If younger adults turn away from smoking, the industry must decline, just as a population which does not give birth will eventually dwindle."

  • I believe that people who are addicted are one of two things. 1. A hardcore chain smoker. 2. A little kid who thinks it's cool to be addicted. I smoked a pack a day for 2 years and quit. I felt anxious and a little frustrated for about a week and a half. I haven't smoke since. It's a habitual addiction. Scientifically nothing in nicotine is physically addictive.

  • @ProudxSinner

'Scientifically nothing in nicotine is physically addictive'

Use google scholar and search for nicotine.

It appears that there is substantial evidence that nicotine is addictive.

I feel I must ask: Do you work for a tobacco company, or a PR company engaged directly or indirectly by a tobacco company?

  • Umm hmm, thats hard to believe...

  • tobacco execs? what the fuck do they know, lol.

i smoke when im drinking sometimes, that's about it. and when i do, i smoke a lot. im not hooked though. it's not really addictive for me. i hate the smell it leaves above all else.

  • The outrage is that youngsters are the easiest to get addicted. Those that smoke while adolescent are most likely to be addicted for life. These cynical lying bastards knew this. They needed to recruit new smokers to replace the ones their product had killed.

  • @pseudotruth Young people are actually less likely to get addicted. Most people quit after high school because it's not very addictive, they just think it's cool. If you look at some national statistics, you'll notice that above the age of 18, much much fewer people smoke.

  • @ProudxSinner

'Young people are actually less likely to get addicted'

You really are either LYING or have bought the Tobacco PR Bullshit.

Use google scholar and search for nicotine youth addiction 15,000 hits

  • They are so honest, they could be Austrian politicians.

  • I wonder if they smoke?...one better why dont they supply cigarettes to their children and get their gran children smoking from a young age, afterall nicotine is not addictive so they will be ok! Assholes!

  • Notice they say: "I BELIEVE nicotine is not addictive" and not simply "nicotine is not addictive". How the hell can you prove what they believe or don't believe?

  • I smoked before, matter of fact I smoked tonight and I don't see why it would be addictive?

Cravings??? It doesn't even do anything, besides a slight nauseous feeling.

  • Stop smoking. Seriously, stop. This would be the best time. If you're not a smoker, you won't see the addictive quality of it either... until you slowly realize you're sticking with it. Eventually that nauseous feeling will go away, and be replaced by an urge to smoke simply to feel "normal". Nicotine is horribly addictive and unhealthy, so my advice is to stop messing around with it and not get hooked in the first place.

  • smoke 5 a day for a week and say that again

  • That's like 10$+ a week fuck that.

I would have to quit just from being broke.

Yeah I have been smoking when I drink and i'm not seeing anything addictive about it, besides it increases alcohol effects a little.

  • This is the most bullshit I've ever heard. are they scientists? Do they have some proof or they just say: "I believe" and everybody's happy. I thought we passed Darg Ages long time ago, but not in USA that's how dark and silly this country is.

  • we all know they're lying

but they'reo nly trying to get money out of it, even at the cost of lying

n even if it went against them in the legisture, they have high influential lobbylist who maintain that tobacco is legal

  • Not scientist yo, they are Tobacco executives claiming that nicotine is not addictive to they would not be liable for harm...fucking assholes...

  • This may be the most important video on Utube. This sentiment of these corporate swine can be projected to 95% of this country's corporate mentality....they don't care about you, they don't care about you, they don't care about you.....type into the search:" george carlin...owners of the country "for more brilliance...watch yoda speak! Wake up america ...we are ignorant and arrogant....pure capitalism is as corrupt as any other governmental regime........we need some balance.

  • i dont know about nicatine, but tobacco & cigarettes are not addictive

  • Suckers. If you can't quit you're weak.

  • bullshit its not addictive. thats a 100% lie, blaten lie. im addicted to nicotine. i will tell you it is extremely addictive, and anyone that tells you it isnt is a fool

  • @ad356 nicotine is not addictive. its mind over matter. its been proven it is not addictive. all you little dorks thinking "oh my gooood i can't quit. its so hard you know :'(" bullshit. grow a pair and get over it.

  • @sgilb45 you are an ass..

  • Comment removed

  • @sgilb45 and earth is flat

  • you see folks they've lied about this for 50 years and its the same thing thats happening with high fructose corn syrup sayin that it does not cause obeseity and disease when in fact it does, it goes the same with fast food when they purposely put chemicals in the food to make you fat and physically addicted to the food and they deny it. You won't hear this stuff in media because they are controlled by the government.

  • LMAO that made my day. Wow. I never smoked, but holy fuck they need to get their heads outta their ass!!!

  • Those motherfuckers. They should be forced to be in a room with me a bunch of smokers who are quitting cold turkey - that would change their fucking minds in a hurry. Fat bunch of greedy cunts, may karma come back to each and everyone of them.

  • lol, you seem a little nervous, i know im about to floss. but yeah, who cares. everyone knows its addictive. your beliefs mean nothing.

  • THE POINT (BONK!) is that these assholes manipulated nicotine levels, suppressed evidence and lied for 50 years about the adverse impact of smoking. Here they are LYING under oath because to admit that it is addictive is to confess that they purposefully and secretly made the product more addictive by manipulating nicotine. levels.

  • Next they'll be saying Caffeine isn't addictive. Hello, my name is NotaBeatleFan and I'm a caffeinaholic. I must drink caffeine 12 times /day or suffer headaches. Studies show that 450 people asked agree caffeine's not addictive. That's 90% population of Minton. 80% crimes commited within 1 hour of not drinking is prevalent. Dr. Lame states it's not addictive. (He has alzheimers)

My best friend agrees. I think so, thus it is. How many fallacies can we use?

  • By the way, statements starting with "I believe" are fallacy arguments.

  • Quitting smoking is as hard as starting flossing....

  • that is a great analogy my freind. not over or under doing it.

  • Nicotine addiction has historically been one of the hardest addictions to break, similar to those addiction to drugs such as heroin and cocaine. So when will these guys announce that heroin and cocaine is not an addiction? They believe in lies because lies make money.

  • Hey, look everybody! It's those "global evolution cigarettes aren't warmly creationism addictive" guys! I like their song about how storks deliver babies - it's on their "Abstinence Only" greatest hits album. These guys ROCK! (like a gay anti-gay TV evangelist on meth!)

  • Here's one for you.

The lights are on, but nobody's home,

He's sitting in the corner, knawing on a bone.

He's empty headed because he wants to be alone,

Oh, the lights are on, but nobody's home.

The moon is made out of old green cheese,

We're lining up, for that government green cheese.

It matters not, whether there's cheese, oh, please,

Just give me some of that green moon cheese.

    :-)

  • Either Nothing is "Addictive" or Everything is "Addictive!!!" America is simply full of hypocrites who are full of their own @$%*

  • I thought smoking was so cool, edgy, glamorous. Over my 30-some years, I received thousands and thousands of messages building that perception.

Then I see these guys who run the tobacco industry and I think: they look dorky. Where are all the tattoos and piercings? The momento mori and other symbols of subculture, counterculture? The loud rock music and the motorbikes? Aside from gaining access to their ill-gotten wealth, why would I want to party with these corrupt old farts?

  • these are the kinds of fucks that corrupt our democracy with their lies and government bribes. They are traitors and an enemy of democracy and the American people.

  • Smoking sucks. i smoked before but i stopped it 6 months ago.

  • So much for addiction; 6 months.

  • I love watching people perjure themselves before Congress

  • I love watching Congress perjure themselves before congress.

  • what are they smoking? ohh yeah, that's right, cigarettes. what a bunch of idiot!
