This really isn't implementing any of the unique features of the Kinect into the so called "interactive advertising". This could just as easily be done through a phone or even a satellite company through their TV interface. Why not have something that's pushing the box a little bit more? Say instead of having the Infiniti dealership's address being sent to your phone, one could test drive the advertised vehicle through Kinect and a partnership with Forza 4.
Why aren't QR codes or Microsoft Tags on every commercial, so that I can simply aim my Windows Phone at the TV and be taken to the website or facebook page for that product? The code could pop up on the screen when the user gestures or be on the screen for the duration of the ad.
Impressive stuff.
