東海道線を、115系があった頃に利用したのは2000年代初め­頃が最後で、

新幹線は100～300系がまだまだズラリで。東北・上越も、1­00系顔の200系が若干残ってて

、乗り鉄を楽しめました。

Maybe yes but without te usual TGV Dirtiness, the Nozomi is far more stable than the TGV too

Hi, that is Tokaido-line rapid service and Yamanote-line local service.

These trains are running on narrow gauge.

Only Shinkansen uses standard gauge in JR companies.

@cismok Actually not, the 500 is still the fastest and most expensive shinkansen in Tokaido - Sanyo line

those 2 more generations you are mentioning are the 700 series going up to 285 km/h and the N700 going up to 300 km/h, the 500 series were designed to be used normally @ 320 km/h, but noise abatements keeps from doing it's speed. and talking about max speed the 500 reachs over 350 km/h
