I grew up In Miami Florida Its actually Un Tres* for 3 3 of the strings are tuned to D on the guitar the others E ,A and B i believe most spanish guitar music is played this way... Yes John You are great Bro!

John clarke ! How have you been doing? hope good. I have been following your music for the last 2 years or more. when your website was in its starting stages I think. and life has been getting in the way a bit of my guitar! but do you suggest any excersices for the left hand? it cant keep up with you rsong on the riffs, the right hand is strong and fine. but the fingers of the left arent accurate or fast enough. . . any ideas anyone?

@atgblue1 best stuff to begin with is just chromatic exercises, alternating strings, ascending and descending, and using different fingers play the scale (i &m, m&a)..it's a simple exercise that's a bit difficult to describe but I'd imagine you could find an example of something like it somewhere online

the tapping is probly with his foot, or recorded seperatly, he does a little tapping with his strumming hand, but not all the tapping you hear is from his strumming hand
