a sleeper with just an intake...LMFAO. my crown vic is a sleeper. intake, shorty headers, full cat-back exhaust, cams, cam shaft, pullys, plugs, wire, msg ignition, new fan...thats a sleeper bud. u hav a great base to work with so do it proud!

The more the engine is tuned, the more it will increase... on a stock motor, maybe 5hp.

COLD AIR? not tryin to talk shit but Without a heat shield that thing is sucking air right from the HOTTEST HOSE on that engine, the radiator hose is hot as shit and you got it right next to it, throw a heat shield on that dam thing, then maybe call it a COLD air intake

jusst because you put a cone and pull the intake away from the engine does NOT make it cold air intake, for it to be true cold air you need to pull it infront of the radiator or out of the engine compartment

80 mm maf and extend the cone filter to not get the hot air from the engine. where was the CAI bought and what brand?

How is it a COLD AIR intake if its still pulling HOT AIR in from the engine compartment. Your better off leaving the stock air box on and just putting in a K&N Air filter. Just cause you add a round air filter instead of the panel type doesnt make it cold air intake.

a real cold air intake sucks air from the bumper area....away from the engine (heat).

if you ass holes no anything you will notice thats not a cold air intake. a cold air intake is all the way the body and behind ur bumper. thats just considered as a fucking cheap intake from autozone.

dude it isnt an effective cold air kit if it is still able to pull air from the engine bay so its kinda pointless unless ur just looking for additional air flow and throttle noise....i dont understand why ppl just dont fabricate their own kits it isnt that hard....the only thing u have to buy is the air filter....

You cant loose either way. Even if its sucking stock air (warm), you are improving thermal efficiency. Therefore improving mileage.
