Added: July 06, 2006 haha, the car didn't even have any engine management.. the car was modded and sold along time ago, i do not recall what the cel was on for, possibly the knock it was getting from the 6bolt swap without dsmlink to fix that ;)

thats alright, a little slow..i was racin against a piece of crap sunfire with a 95 tsi all wheel drive talon, no match..jumped to 110 like nothin to it..but i guess yours aint got as big of a turbo or somethin...aint half as fast

i used to own a 95 talon tsi, it was a ton of fun, but it was just too unreliable and i had to get rid of it :(

Damn my car pulls so much harder and I just have a small 16g on a 1g manifold. 1g BOV, TRE Trans, Stg 3 Clutch, thats about it.

FMIC, DSMLINK, 02 dump all go on next weekend though.

nah, it was with a e3 16g :( haha.. back in the good ol days with stock injectors, smic, all untuned .. all that good stuff, it does look slower then it seemed though :( haha, oh well, it was much quicker by the time he sold it, thats for damn sure

thats pretty slow to mine...lol i got the 2nd gen dsm, with bushur 97b6 turbo, and all insides redone, heads,cylinders, etc...

Please don't give dumb fucking advice. If you take it off the CEL comes on. DSMs have recirculating BOV, if air is not being recirculated into the mainfold the ECU will pop a CEL.

I have had my stock 2g talon to 150, they dont stop at 140 thats only the gst and fwd models! I have no gotten it to 172 with the stock tranny!

yea i have a 95 eagle talon tsi awd and140mph is all it will let you go and hold it there but the dsm link is a god send if you want to tune it and go faster with a higher limit its just too bad they are $500

miss my talon tsi. '90 had no limiter. had the intake and exhaust done up and a wastegate on the turbo. had it to around 150-155 once and it still had more to give but I chickened out. Lots of cops around Moses Lake, wa. what a GREAT car she was!!

What year is that Talon? I have a 1990 FWD Tsi, and theres NO speed limiter! I can go a little over 240Km/h (last number on speedo) I have NEVER herd of a Talon with a gov. I'll post my vids as soon as I know how.

My friend had a TSI FWD talon and we had it to 160 and could have gone faster. We both dont know how we got that fast with it not shutin off. My car avenger and another kids eclipse shuts off at 140. The guy before him that had that car I guess liked to race and we think he might have bypassed the switch. We no longer have the talon. We rolled the car 6 times after some guy ran us off the road.
