I think part of Kun Khmer training is getting used to hit so the guys who trained well and enough should be able to withstand certain amount of hits and blows. If you watch other Kun Khmer fights, you see the guys get elbowed alot but still stand and fight like nothing happened. That being said, that flying knee makes many martial art films weeping lol.
