What you're probably thinking of is the one were the astronaut walks between the camera and the flag and you can then see a slight swinging of the flag afterwards. The moon landing hoax sense to me. What if we had failed the Apollo mission? What if we just couldn't land men on the moon in 69? What, we should've chanced the USSR getting to the moon first? Hoax pros- saved $ , Soviet fear, peace. Cons- a hoax is a lie. I really dont have any issues with the possibility of a hoax with the Apollo mission, I consider it genius! Is a lie wrong if it saves millions of lives? Hoax or not, I refuse to take any kudos from the astronauts, they are heros in my book.

It's not a hoax, if you look at the images of moon taken from the hubble space telescope, you can still see the trails left on the surface of the moon by astronauts walking, and the difference in object heights explains the unparalleled shadows. The flag was waving because the astronauts waved it and it was just floating so they could take a good photo. I don't doubt that the US indeed did go to the moon. However, I don't believe that we went when we say we did. It makes sense because we were up for competition against the Soviets and when they went out to space, we were like "Holy crap! If we don't do something we're screwed. We have to out do them." The best explanation is that we went out into space but we didn't actually go to the moon that time.

there is no reason in faking the moon landing, i can't explain the lighting but i can explain the flag, there is a lot less gravity on the moon, meaning something light as a flag wouldn't immediately be pulled down. it's possible that it's a hoax, but not likely.
