Which planet is more habitable, Uranus or Neptune? Both planets are blue, which means that they are both covered with water. And where water exists, the possibility for sea life (whales, sharks, lobsters, etc.) exists. Maybe we should send Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to investigate the issue.
Uranus is a little understood planet. But then all of the planets are. And it's actually more of a blue-green. Neptune is blue. You can see the distinction when you place true color images of the two side by side.
All 4 gas planets have ring systems and large numbers of natural satellites. But only Uranus has such an eccentric axis. None of the planets sit on exactly the same orbital plane as each orbit is a few degrees off the Sun's equatorial plane.
@Leathurkatt why are each planet seen with a different colours each from a distance???????? like planet earth seems to be blue because of the ocean but what about the others?? and really they are all have a beautiful colours
A theory I heard is that it formed closer to the sun than it is now located and passed a little close to Saturn and over time Saturn acccelerated its orbital speed puttig it further out in the solar system and it ran in to another planet on the way out.
Uranus catches my attention in that in one of its side is permanentely day while the other side is never reached by sun beams consequentely it's always night! This is due to its rotation's axle tilting.
What's in a name? I guess nothing. But since the 5 visible planets of the Classic Era were given the names of Roman Gods, six and Terra if you count Earth, we had to name newly discovered planets in the same theme. Although in the English language Terra was changed to Earth and Luna to the Moon.
Lol seriously because everytime I bring up the planet there's always someone who just starts laughing... Either they're perverted or our planet namers are dumbasses hehe.
Tehe!! I love how videos like this spark such um... interesting conversations and arguments over something as stupid as a planet. By the way, kash1123, I admire nerds 1) because I am one kinda (ask HMFProductions) and 2) Nerds kinda rule the world (with technology and stuff like that) so yeah.
Omg it only says the names of 2 planets and then jumps all of a sudden to uranus(ur-a-nus)wat u only knew 2 of the planets names and uranus's name i mean a little kid could name all the planet even the dwarf planet pluto i mean come on.Also the music wat did u copy it from star wars its a lame vidio give me a brak watch Mercury,Venus,Earth,Mars,Jupiter,Saturn,Neptune,Uranus, also pluto if ur so smart why didn't u put all the planets if i were ur teacher i would give u a F-.
First off, we start at earth then go past all the planets and stop at uranus...yes the music is from star wars but i didn't pick it...I just put it together...Plus we got an A+...That was the highest grade given....If you don't like then don't watch and don't talk..
well, technically "nibiru" is another name for "jupiter". its the name the ancient summerians gave to the planet. after pluto comes eris, quoaor, and then sedna with its one moon, dysnomia. sedna is the farthest planet to be seen in the kupiter belt.
Please... give me a break. First of all, you can't even name the planets in order or even spell them correctly. Second, the grade F- doesn't even exist so good job smart one. Just get over your superior ego problems and watch a different video. Chill your pants... it was just a stupid middle school science project, not a NASA mission report. Have a nice day. :)
The main point of the vid was just to show different views of the planet. All the information was in the 4 or 5 page report and the 30 slide power point that we also had to do.
(for kmcfootball)you can barely see uranus with the naked eye, it has a magnitude of between 5.6 - 6.0, which the naked eye can barly see, you need to know where to look and get a good telescope or a good pair of binoculars to see the planet as a blue disk, i see you don't know much about astronomy, peace :)
I can't wait to see Uranus through my brand new Meade LX200R with GPS that will be great it has Ritchey Chretien Optics and 2000 MM of Focal Length it will look awesome through i'll even see it's moons too!!!!
why, just why would you call a planet that>?//////////

Questions:
Why does Uranus spin on its side? Why does its moons spin the same direction as their mother and in opposite ways?

Problems with this comment:
1)it says the names of five planets. Earth, Mars, Jupiter (Juptier, lol), Saturn, and Uranus. Try counting.
2)he/she was saying we were traveling from Earth to Uranus. Those were the planets between.
3)Neptune is the furthest planet out.
Of course a little kid could name Pluto, as most speaking children were around when it was still a planet
4)Even if your complaints were valid, this would still not deserve an F- (which doesn't even exist as far as I know, btw)
kash1123 3 years ago

So the video is showing different views of Uranus? Is it saletlite images of Uranus? Can the hubble see Uranus?

Why do you care so much? Just shut up and watch this amazing music video about a stupid planet.
fantasmatrekkie 4 years ago
I'm sorry, but I refuse to take verbal abuse from someone who isn't passionate about Uranus. Uranus is big, Uranus is gassy, Uranus has rings.
shakezoola456 4 years ago
OK, but Jupiter has all those things too but you don't see people going crazy over it.
