Which planet is more habitable, Uranus or Neptune? Both planets are blue, which means that they are both covered with water. And where water exists, the possibility for sea life (whales, sharks, lobsters, etc.) exists. Maybe we should send Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to investigate the issue.

Uranus is a little understood planet. But then all of the planets are. And it's actually more of a blue-green. Neptune is blue. You can see the distinction when you place true color images of the two side by side.

All 4 gas planets have ring systems and large numbers of natural satellites. But only Uranus has such an eccentric axis. None of the planets sit on exactly the same orbital plane as each orbit is a few degrees off the Sun's equatorial plane.

A theory I heard is that it formed closer to the sun than it is now located and passed a little close to Saturn and over time Saturn acccelerated its orbital speed puttig it further out in the solar system and it ran in to another planet on the way out.

Uranus catches my attention in that in one of its side is permanentely day while the other side is never reached by sun beams consequentely it's always night! This is due to its rotation's axle tilting.

What's in a name? I guess nothing. But since the 5 visible planets of the Classic Era were given the names of Roman Gods, six and Terra if you count Earth, we had to name newly discovered planets in the same theme. Although in the English language Terra was changed to Earth and Luna to the Moon.

well, technically "nibiru" is another name for "jupiter". its the name the ancient summerians gave to the planet. after pluto comes eris, quoaor, and then sedna with its one moon, dysnomia. sedna is the farthest planet to be seen in the kupiter belt.

1)it says the names of five planets. Earth, Mars, Jupiter (Juptier, lol), Saturn, and Uranus. Try counting.

2)he/she was saying we were traveling from Earth to Uranus. Those were the planets between.

3)Neptune is the furthest planet out.

Of course a little kid could name Pluto, as most speaking children were around when it was still a planet

(for kmcfootball)you can barely see uranus with the naked eye, it has a magnitude of between 5.6 - 6.0, which the naked eye can barly see, you need to know where to look and get a good telescope or a good pair of binoculars to see the planet as a blue disk, i see you don't know much about astronomy, peace :)
