@getoffmypeaches Your work's quite appreciable! You and the Catfish were the whole reason I liked this ad the most of any of them! <3 Very hard to get... It's crazy when I think how major some commercials were to my childhood. (I was 12 fourteen years ago. :)

Was that catfish a weird mask, or was it all CG?

To answer your question, this was shot in 2 takes. 1) me popping a gusher (which did not taste like catfish, and had to spit into a bucket after each take) and 2) me wearing a huge foam core mask over my head with an air hose up the back to make my "gills" appear to be breathing. Basically, a pretty cool way for a kid to spend her afternoon. Glad you enjoyed it!

I was about 12 when I shot this, so I share the nostalgia this comm inspires!

The gills move/breathe? I guess that explain why they had you turn at the end..! The original video I got is just small enough that I wouldn't've noticed the gills.. :)
