Hey for anyone watching, I got the game and the people who say the game has 10 gb of patches are liars... its 1.3 gb.

The games pretty good but has some glitches.

I was in the closed Beta, the graphics are amasing, rely, some of the best i have seen, but, altough it looks like Star Trek, it diden't feel much like it, but i dident get very far in the game. But i'l tell u, its nothing like WoW, although some missions felt like grinding. But the Fed is at war so i guess thats expected. But im still gona play, i rely want to see DS9, Bajor, the Badlands and many other famous places

Naw dude the graphics are simply jaw dropping, i have the beta and its so addicting and very exciting. Its almost like world of War craft but in space and the future.

i've never seen any star trek except the film that came out recently, loved the film and this game looks interesting, i also noticed the game features the voice of zachary quinto who i loved in the movie and maybe is just as much for new generations of fans as the old.

I am sorry, but there seems to be none of the content that makes Star Trek what it is. No science, no exploration... Once again if GameSpot or the big players in the gaming community get behind a game hyping it up and trying to sell it, you can be sure the review, as Fuzzworth said will be quite toothless.

Space combat is nothing special when looking at how long Bridge Commander and the SFC series has been around.

Why not just switch to EVE Online if you like Sci-Fi? I was almost somewhat kind of worried this would take away some of EVE's fanbase. Now I can rest assured that no EVE fan will fall for this crap.

This game has the exact same game set up as "Pirates of the Burning Seas". Your avatar runs around in small instanced areas, you travel on a huge galaxy map and when you enter combat, it's in an instanced area.

It's also a bit rough around the edges. It has tons of little minor graphic bugs, the few voice overs there are, are not that good, your hand will cramp from piloting the ship, it's almost ALL combat the first few hours, no real virtual world feel at all
