This country was never intended to be a christian country it was formed as a secular country (treaty of tripoli) "in god we trust "and "under god" was added in the last century and was not there at the beginning! I have no problem with christians that don't try to force their way into my public space or legislate beliefs on others with bully tactics, dont expect others to tolerate you when you have no tolerance, you will recieve the treatment and intolerance you dish out 10 fold!

The U.S. constitution guarantees every citizen the right to break half of the ten commandments. The other ones about lying in court, murder, stealing, etc. are the no-brainer bare minimum requirements to have anything resembling a free country. In other words, agreeing to not murder each other is not exclusively Christian. Jefferson, Madison, Adams, and Paine were adamantly non-christian.
