@Maghiere No, I don't think this is a matter of race at all. I can think of at least 5 black burlesque performers who don't come close to the stage presence and playfulness of Kitten DeVille, Michelle L'amour, Dirty Martini, or Renea Le Roux. And there isn't even that many black burlesque performers, unfortunately. But if you want to talk about Perle Noire, well, she's in a class by herself!
