im not saying this is the rite way but my guild run (hellraisers from hydraxis) we have al dps on 1 boss and then the tanks go in and switch then around but we do it much like urs but all dps is on 1 boss instead of the 2 melee bosses

Im doing this boss every week 25man and 10 man.

i used to do the dps race on the buttem left bosses

nearly all dps on one boss a tank and a few healers knock it down before you're at the 4th mark go to right knock that one down etc etc

on the upper 2 i used to switch.

alot easier imo no taunts or something only thing is that someone always needs to be in 45 yards of the boss because if you dont than there wil be a very very big aoe in the whole room, so thats a wipe :P

If you don't switch it would be a very bad idea.

The only reason why you need people to be on the back bosses is that if someone is unable to receive a mark (not within 45 yards) of them they will do a raid-wide AoE that WILL wipe you if it is continually casted.

lol, if your looking at the 4 horsemen from the entrance we just have all the dps stack on the left knight, burn down the boss, this is while tanks swap at the back, and we swap at the front if necessary. Thing is tho we dont have nearly as many heals as suggested we did it with 4 in the past. Very solid advice tho, and you can do it on 5 stacks.

Hehe the strategy u guys talk about is wrong...

-the strategy for "advanced" guilds-

ALL DPS,stack in one place...send a tank and a healer in each corner...(only tanks in the back swap)...if your guild is able to zerg them down one by one before u reach 3 stacks do so...at least that's how we do it and it's very easy...kill first boss go to next,kill second, and so on until they are all dead...we usually kill them in 3-4min

Your tactics are really strange. Why Does the DPS swap over sides ? Logicly, have the tanks run to the middle - taunt - run bac to original corner - ??? - profit.

Remember, EVERYONE is getting DoTs put on them from each horsemen. If the DPS was to stay in their corners they would get 5+ stacks and take 15k dam, and therefore X-P, QQ. So...the DPS switches sides as well so the DoTs from one of the horsemen wears off.

I think it all just comes down to individual guilds. No one is going to have the exact same strat for everything. I definitely appreciate people explaining their strat for it. We aren't going to change how we do any of the fights :P. But it will be useful for people who haven't done it before to have ideas.

my guild just burns down the boss in the lower left, then burns the lower right boss, without worrying about the debuffs then they make sure to switch when they get to the the 2 horsemen left, i guess there are multiple strategys

Actually in the beginning when I describe what classes are needed, I say that 2 tanks are damage soakers. And depending upon the gear of everyone you might need 4 healers for the melee horsemen. It helps to have more healers then less when you first attempt any boss.

2 healers are needed, not 4 hahaha. and any class can do the tanking

in our raid me(healer) a hunter, and 2 plate wearers were tanking the horsemen

Our guild wiped horribly on our first try, but got through it quite easily the second try, without anyone dying. Like with Heigan, once you got the routine down, it's pretty easy.
