@isidora121minime We had to stop saying the word "WALK" around my late Australian shepherd because he would get too excited. We started spelling it "W-A-L-K" and he learned that too. Good grief. :-)
haha I mean as soon as I leave the house he jumps in my face, licks my legs (one pant which shall be known as the drool-pant still got stains after 3 washes XD)I dont take it bad of course but when I just showered and have clean legs I'd like to keep them clean xD He lives in south france they took him from a bad owner. he's really hyper and always running through their huge garden or with their chickens/goose.we play with him too or go out with the horses(of which he is scared xD or got respect
@KittyKat90, I hope you and your fiancee's Aussie get to understand each other better. I don't know what you mean by annoying, but understanding the breed might help you understand this dog better. By nature, they're working dogs - they love duty and praise. Exercise him/her regularly, feed the dog emotionally and intellectually , and you'll become buds. :)
@KittyKat90 Please get to know the breed like toyboy1 said. They're scary smart. They're loyal to their owners to the point of death. They track lost hamsters and herd cats, ferrets, and grandchildren. If you stop saying "out" because they get excited, and start spelling it "O-U-T" they'll learn to spell. Aussies need a job, even if it's only going for a walk or licking your feet or fetching a tennis ball. They're VERY protective of their owner (herd) and suspicious of strangers. Characteristic.
I have seven Australian Shepherds. Hand picked the mother and father and we had two AMAZING litters! I only wish I could have kept all 16 of the pups.
I have a 11yr old with inoperable cancer... today's his birthday !!!!!! Ranger herds parachutists !
He can spell DZ (dropzone) !
Found me as a skydiver on an airport, changed my life -FOREVER.
