This version seems to miss the point. Nike is a very good singer, but trying to prove she is good...that defeats the modest simplicity of the original. The original takes a more subtle approach to making a hook, and this is because of the part that comes late in the song where she sings harder about clipped wings and floating. In this version it's like that important part was skipped.
