I'm not hating, this is an awesome box. I've tried to put ports in numerous cardboard boxes and it ruins the sound and volume of the sub. Sealed and cardboard usually don't mix, but for me it's the only way to do it.

The one I've got now is really well braced with a piece of wood and a lego stick thing I made. Hardly any box flex now. :) The sub's not screwed down either.

actually its good man did you double up on the carboard,but ofcours youll never get a good seal thats why it has so mutch excursion subs really dont need a box just need to be in encosed in a tight space cut a ring to fit around the sub and place it upside down like that like a cup,bowl or bucket upside down with the ass missing if you will .most home audio sounds best with downword facing subs,again good job!!!

WTF?? This is great example of why you shouldn't do this!!! Whenever you hear a slapping sound for bass instead of a smooth note, that is BAD. If you used that speaker for any length of time it would probably burn up the voice coil or break from over-excursion. Certainly it is better than no box at all, which you probably also tried.
