I don't care if someone is pro-life or pro-choice. What you do is entirely your decision to make. It is immensely personal, no one can make the choice for you. No one has the right to make you feel inferior or criminal about your choices, whatever you choose to do.
@mcrluvr222 Uh...you're replying to a comment I made a few years ago. So, I don't specifically remember what I said, but to answer your question; the reason it was a tough decision is because even though I am pro-choice, I still looked at the potential at that age. It was difficult, feeling that way. As I've gotten older, some of my perspectives have evolved. I did what I had to do; enough said. I have a beautiful little girl now, and the present and future are what I focus on now.

My 13 week scan showed that the brain is in the early stage of development, other organs have developed at this stage. I don't know if the video is fake or not, and being currently pregnant, I can't bring myself to watch it at this stage. But judging by some other parts of the video, it does look very much like other fake videos made in the 80's ie: Faces Of Death.
This video is face and biased. Most kids have to learn that fire and knives are dangerous but know what abortion tools do? Another error is this video is a embryo or fetus can't voluntarily move until 5 months. I can't tell you if abortion is right or wrong, but I don't like being lied to.

Pro-lifers and many licensed doctors can and have provided ample proof that a fetus experiences pain at as few as 4 weeks, while others argue that this happens at 8 weeks. Besides, I've experts say parts of this ultrasound were speed up to make it look like the fetus was panicing and the movement is pressure moving the fetus, not the fetus trying to escape.

@NoSpeakieInternet To be honest, I don't know whether this video is credible or not. Some people say yes, some say no. And my so-called proof is more proof than pro-choicers have bothered to give. Look anywhere, and you'll see so many different theories about fetal pain, where life begins, etc. The only ones that give ample evidence to support the theory and explain it in considerable detail without using moral or ethical explanations (usually) are pro-lifers. Why? They have nothing to hide.
@mcrluvr222 I think abortion is sad and adoption is a viable alternative in most situations. (I can’t have kids and want to adopt someday, so I admit there might be some bias there.) I shy away from the pro-life movement because I’m a liberal, and liberals are sometimes bashed by pro-lifers. Besides, there are certain gray areas where the welfare of the mother has to be considered. (rape, incest, serious medical complications.). that siad, I respect people who are honestly pro-life.

I think the question of quantity vs. quality of life will always be there, but I think that in non-extreme cases a child could be adopted into a better home if it's mother has less than ideal home situation.

I know people who call simply themselves anti-abortion because they believe in the death penalty, etc. Personally I don't think anyone has the right to decide when someone else dies. Adoption is always a viable solution; there are always families willing to raise that child as their own.
I think in rare cases where the pregnancy threatens the mom's life, exceptions can be made.

Instead these people merely say the fetus is better off dead. How does this make sense?

Well I'm glad you see this as a discussion. I believe people have the ability to put their opinions forth in a civilized manner, even if there is disagreement. I already said everything I thought in the last two paragraphs I wrote so there you have it. :)
How many of these "pro-life" people do you think have actually gone out of their way to help a starving child a child who's being abused. Perhaps 1 in 10 or even 20 (and that's me being really generous). If you don't put in the effort to make it a better world for children who ARE living in this world, then you have no right to have an opinion on a woman's choice to not bring another life which might be neglected.
I don't want to get into any sort of argument. I understand where you're going with this, but I still believe that it's sort of ridiculous the way people let themselves judge other people. Everyone has an opinion about abortion, but I've seen with my two eyes a mother degrading her child and yelling at her child in front of everyone, and no one has anything to say then cuz it's "non of their business". I just think if you care about children, then care about them when they are in this world.

Would it be exceptable for a woman to do something for herself if it meant killing a child who was already born? Let me ask you think about this. @TheShnehhehheh I believe that people need to have more of an opinion for children who are in this world who are being abused or neglected. I've seen children being treated like shit in public, and no one has an opinion about how "precious" that child's life is then. All of these people screaming "prolife" need to actually do something to make the world a better place to live before worrying about abortion. It's easy to judge and talk, but not so easy to actually make a positive difference.
@Banoushi I have found that most people I know who are prolife are very involved in rescue and helping the woman and children. I am sure that there are those who may not be, but I personally do not know them. The prolife people I know are caring loving people who offer support and options for those children. I personally know many teens today who were going to be aborted but they were either adopted by others or their moms were given support and are now wonderful young people.

I saw this film a loooooooooong time ago at a Pro life showing of it, and I was one of the people that picketed with them..........and it really affected me as has everything that has happened since then......I'm not watching it again, I'm too sensitive. I feel so sorry for these little innocent beings.......beyond words. I have for a long time. It never leaves you. You never stop thinking about how we live in a country that legalizes murder for some and throws others in prison.
However, I learned coping skills when I got sent away for trying to kill myself. I was discharged last Thursday and I did it the Thursday before. The thing that helps me get through my day is, I gave my baby a name and I know it's in heaven now and I will meet him when I get there.

Unfortunately, I was forced by my parents to get an abortion because of the fact my boyfriend was 21 and I'm 15 and he'd be put in jail if I didn't. I aborted and don't regret it. I grew up abused by a man who is in prison for attempted murder- I grew up w/ teachers and CPS telling me that unless my parents were on drugs/breaking my skin, then I WASN'T getting abused, ignoring bruises on my face.. That is a myth...before abortion was legal, it was performed by the same doctors that began performing them legally after the law was passed. It was difficult, feeling that way. As I've gotten older, some of my perspectives have evolved. I did what I had to do; enough said. My 13 week scan showed that the brain is in the early stage of development, other organs have developed at this stage. I know people who call simply themselves anti-abortion because they believe in the death penalty, etc. Personally I don't think anyone has the right to decide when someone else dies. Adoption is always a viable solution; there are always families willing to raise that child as their own.
I think in rare cases where the pregnancy threatens the mom's life, exceptions can be made.

@Banoushi I have found that most people I know who are prolife are very involved in rescue and helping the woman and children. I am sure that there are those who may not be, but I personally do not know them. The prolife people I know are caring loving people who offer support and options for those children. I personally know many teens today who were going to be aborted but they were either adopted by others or their moms were given support and are now wonderful young people.

Unfortunately, I was forced by my parents to get an abortion because of the fact my boyfriend was 21 and I'm 15 and he'd be put in jail if I didn't. A week and a half ago I viewed this video and as soon as I finished watching it, I overdosed on my anti-depressants, attempting to kill myself. This video made me feel 100 times worse than I already did.

i like the title "silent" scream since babies breathe but before birth the fetus does not even breathe yet. prolifers say the "best" proof is from luke 1 a fetus "babe" but only in the translation. 8 day old baby is called "paidion" luke 1:59 THAT is the word for baby. not brephos in luke 1:41 and 44 indicating not a baby yet.

This is sad! :( Before you decide on an abortion, think about putting your baby up for adoption! You can even pick the family that the baby will go too if you want too! There are alot of couples out there who are not blessed with a baby so think about helping a couple out who cant have a baby of their own to love and care for!!!! Dont get an abortion!!! Its not only painful for you but look at this video, its also painful for the unborn baby!!! :(

im aginsts the optio of abortion but the only way i would get an ablorition is IF i was raped. i would not want to go thru the whole nine months knowing i am carring a baby around by a guy i dont know, dont love dont know anything about for nine months everytme i look down and see my belly i would remember tht i was raped and i would have the feeling of hate and anger. every time i would feel the baby move kick or anything i would remember that i was raped and have the felling of hate and anger.

You will see that the narrator, twice, correctly demonstrated the actual size of the 12 wk unborn baby. The larger fetal model is used as a prop (during the abortion) to illustrate the position of the baby while the abortionist is killing her. Obviously, the prop had to be large enough for the viewers to see it.

The early ultrasound images of the baby (in this clip) are slowed to allow a more careful study of the child. For the abortion sequence (4:37-9:50), the images of the baby's reaction is shown at normal speed. It is then stopped in freeze frame (5:25) to illustrate a point ("silent scream"). At no time are the abortion images accelerated beyond normal speed.

I aborted and don't regret it. I grew up abused by a man who is in prison for attempted murder- I grew up w/ teachers and CPS telling me that unless my parents were on drugs/breaking my skin, then I WASN'T getting abused, ignoring bruises on my face.. I grew up wondering why I WASN'T aborted- I had to steal food/clothes, had to suck dick & deal meth to pay for food/housing when my father went to prison, leaving me w/ a crippled, mental mom.
I'm numb. Aboriton is sometimes better.

@chinchoweed Actually, I sold meth alter, after my dad went to prison. I wasn't a prostitute/dealer until i was 17.. and that was hard enough just me and my mother.. imagine if I had to care for a baby/toddler at the same time?!
Being a runaway is not freedom, trust me. It's terrifying b/c you have nwohere/none to go to, so if someone's after you, or you get hurt, you're on your own at the age.
Charities help adults, and teens w/ permission.. I was neither.

@chinchoweed I regret the situation overall, I honestly do, but I don't regret the choice I made in a sea of greater evils, as I think I've said before. I'd regret it worse if I'd brought my kid into the world, only to have them trampled by hunger, or fear, abuse, or to be whisked away and turned into a case file by child services. I'd have destroyed an innocent life and soul, most likely, and probably hurt myself further in the process.

@chinchoweed I used to be extremely suicidal, and I do wish I'd have been aborted before I could ever think or feel or REGRET, than live as long as I have with the pain I felt. I'm in therapy now, and it's helping, but not as much as I'd like.
I can't just switch off 19 years of abuse/depression.

I wish people would stop adding God into this. Women who kill their babies aren't don't care. But this is a moral issue. Why can we kill an unborn & in such an cruel way but can't kill once a life is born & wanted (added wanted because 2nd/3rd trimester abortions birth the child and trash it while still alive). but at least we aren't like China where unwanted female babies are dangled by their feet and swiftly flung down breaking the babies neck--allowing the couple to try for a boy.

I'm not anything. But the thing I have is that if it wasn't legal there would be a black market for it. And some dude in his basement with who know what kind of instrument, would perform an abortion. That if for no other reason is why abortion clinics should remain open. sure it may not be the right way but legal or not its still gonna happen. weather in a basement or a clinic. And in my opinion i would much rather see women go and a clinic then a stranger who doesn't know anything.

That is a myth...before abortion was legal, it was performed by the same doctors that began performing them legally after the law was passed. The myth of some meat market "butcher" performing abortions was all media hype to promote the abortionists agenda. They were doctors performing it for cash, after hours in their clinics...after it was legalized, the same doctors doing the same procedure, continued killing children the way they'd always done. God, forgive us.

Compared to 40 million innocent lives lost, the deaths of women who chose to have an illegal abortion don't seem so significant. OK, I accept that. But, I still think it's OK as long as you eat the fetus. And, they should provide licenses, much like with ducks and bears. That would generate revenue and serve to cull the herd, which is necessary to the protection of the rest of the species. You can't have unchecked reproduction. To summarize: It would be immoral to kill fetuses without eating. Can we agree about this point? After all, you can't say "fetus" without saying "eat us." Are you on board?

I agree with you with protection against pregnancy, as well as late term abortions not being that great, but early abortions where the fetus does not have a developed brain and is certainly not conscious, should be perfectly legal. plus nobody WANTS to have an abortion anyway
